The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up everyone's favorite meals and the open floor plan between the kitchen, dining, and living areas offers the perfect setting to catch up and wind down after your amazing day on the OBX. Everyone will love the indoor and outdoor entertainment, with the game room with a game table, TV, and refrigerator for snacks or head outside and take on a game of volleyball or horseshoes.
With five bedrooms everyone will be sure to find the perfect place to end their day for a restful night. The elevator makes it easy to bring in groceries and luggage and has access to all levels. Your dog deserves an OBX vacation too so bring them along as Calm On Down is pet friendly.
Exploring Nags Head: Located between the highways, Calm On Down lets you take advantage of the Nags Head Fishing Pier, local dining, shopping at unique shops, and visiting the historical sites on the Outer Banks.
Beach Access: Head south out of the driveway until you reach Curlew Street. Head east and cross Virginia Dare Trail safely at the pedestrian crosswalk. Curlew Street Beach Access has paved parking, portable bathrooms, outdoor showers and a wooden walkway.

Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
