Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly cabin with a cozy modern feel. The home is located just a few blocks from the Buckeye Lake park, bike path, boat ramp and plenty of fantastic restaurants. The home includes a fully functioning kitchen, dining area, large living room, indoor wood burning fire place, outdoor fire pit, grill, outdoor seating area and a new hot tub recently added! There is also plenty of parking available in the rear of the home.

The Little Red Cabin - comfortable and convenient

I enjoyed my stay here. It was in a nice town very close to the lake and convenient to Columbus and Hocking Hills. The cabin was nice and the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus relaxing feature to enjoy.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our weekend getaway and that we could take our dog. The house was nicely furnished and the fenced yard was a plus. The only downside was the dogs next door barked a lot. Thank you for a peaceful stay!

Great overnight stay

Our family had a nice time for an overnight stay. Only downsides were the dogs next door who barked the entire stay and a few neighbors who were reving cars at all hours. The property was nice and very clean!

Nice weekend

This is a great place for a couples weekend getaway or an even longer stay for a family of 4. Everything we needed was supplied from the kitchen to the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and the couches were as well. I would highly recommedn this cabin to anyone wanting a quaint and cozy place to get away.

A fabulous little cabin near the lake! Host was great and easy to communicate with during our stay. Cabin was cozy and clean with plenty of space and extra amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

Snowed In

Our stay at The Little Red Cabin was so comfortable. The snow and frigid temps forced us to relax inside the entire visit and we were very comfortable! The inside is even better than the pictures reflect. The beds and linens were comfortable as were the sofas. The owner was very timely in her responses. The location is in a very populated area and you can hear the street noise as well as the neighbor's driveway noise. We did not mind but others may.

Cozy getaway

This adorable beach themed cabin is a great place for a cozy winter getaway. It’s surprisingly bigger inside than you might think. We loved using the hot tub on the back patio as the snow fell, then returning indoors to cuddle up by the lovely wood burning fireplace. There were board games available for some evening entertainment as well as Roku with plenty of choices to watch a good movie. We enjoyed cooking meals together in the fully equipped kitchen and we also tried out the local cuisine at a restaurant called Pizza Cottage. The bed was very comfy, as also were the two sofas in the living area. There were plenty of extra linens, and we also appreciated having a washing machine and dryer available. One minor issue was that the neighbors have three dogs that are a bit noisy when out in their yard. We also joked that if you happen to be taller people, you might find it a bit claustrophobic as the ceilings are quite low. We are both 5’8” and it was ok for us. The host was very accessible and accommodating to our needs. We are looking forward to staying there again in the warmer weather to enjoy some fun in the sun on Buckeye Lake. We think it will be the perfect place to stay as this cabin is just minutes from the lake. There appears to be ample space to store our canoe in the gated, fenced in back yard.

Quiet Hideaway

Krissie, made our stay very welcoming. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out my hubby and I were able to relax in this beautiful and quiet little cabin like feel. Don’t be fooled by the size from the front of the house. It is surprisingly long and spacious on the inside. From the soft wood tones throughout and cozy wood burning stove it was a great atmosphere to relax in. She equipped the home with details that made you feel like a wanted and nurtured guest. And the bed was super soft and cozy too. It was such a friendly town and Buckeye Lake is beautiful and just a quick drive down the street. We have definitely said we would like to return to this little private getaway. Thank you Krissie.

First time to Buckeye Lake

Little Red Cabin was perfect!!! It was so cozy and cute.It was also clean and had everything we needed. Close to all the nightlife and the bed was very comfy. Krissie does a great job! We definitely hope to make it back again next summer!

Neat Place

First things first, there is a weight limit to the bunkbed and it cannot sleep an adult, unless you are under 100lbs. I feel like that should have been in the listing and that others should know before bringing multiple adults. There is plenty of parking but the "roads" (more like alleys) are tiny and thankfully we did not bring our pontoon because it would not have fit. But this place is adorable, well put together, nicely decorated and comfortable. 2 of us did sleep on the couch since the bunkbed was a no go but that was fine for us. It has a great location and the neighborhood is quiet. You could walk to the lake and the small beach area if you would like. There is a firepit and table set in the back that we enjoyed throughout the weekend.

Nice cottage for the family

We stayed here because it is close to Denison and we attended orientation. It was very convenient and clean. The neighborhood is ok, but felt like it’s on the edge of being ok. Just old cottages showing their age. But our place was beautifully renovated and we recommend it!

Such a cute cottage, just loved this place!

This was such a clean little cute cottage. Super dog friendly, and very very clean. Everything we needed was at the home. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice one bedroom cottage to stay at at Buckeye Lake. Communication with the owner was amazing and we loved every minute of it! Thank you!

Perfect dog friendly little red cabin.

Property manager got the house ready in a timely manner for us to check in early. We traveled with our dogs and the fenced backyard was perfect for them. Our stay was wonderful. We will definitely stay again.

Quaint little getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay at the warmly decorated little cabin! Yummy muffins and cookies greeted us! Our kitties loved it too! Very relaxing and had all the essentials needed for our weekend stay.
