About this property

Lakeside home with new furniture, swimming pool & other resort amenities.

Niangua Hills Resort, located on the 5MM of the Big Niangua at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, offers the ease of booking a vacation rental with the desired amenities of staying at a resort. We are under new ownership, as of March 2022, and have undergone a complete renovation, with more still to come! Guests will be able to relax in this no wake cove, fish in our enclosed fish house and swim the day away from our swimming platform.

You'll welcome being close to great Lake area activities, while having peace and quiet on the resort property! Family friendly restaurants and swimming pools can be enjoyed at Captain Ron's and the new The Cave Bar & Grill, both just around the corner via boat or vehicle. The fishing here is great since we are located at the confluence of the Big Niangua River and the Little Niangua River. The Lake of the Ozarks is well known as one of the best fishing destinations in America! For guests looking to enjoy nature, you can hike trails and see the castle ruins and one of Missouri's best state parks, Ha Ha Tonka, just a short 20-minute drive away. Whether you love fishing, hiking, water skiing, boating, swimming, live music, shopping, kayaking or reading a book in the shade, you will find it all here, at Niangua Hills Resort.

Sagrada House #3 is named after a forgotten Lake area town, Sagrada, which was submerged at the bottom of the Lake when it was created. Here, you'll get to enjoy all the action of the waterfront. Cove views are enjoyed with a cup of coffee every morning from the large, covered front porch. A short walk is all there is between you and the Lake's boundless entertainment. At Sagrada House, you're close to the community swim dock, the beach area, the boat ramp, kayaks and paddle boards and the enclosed fish house and boat slips.

Inside the house, guests will enjoy all new furniture (as of 2022) with ample privacy. The kitchen and dining room offer and open-air concept living space, making it even easier to spend quality time together. The master bedroom has a new king bed, the second bedroom has a new queen bed and the third bedroom has a new queen and a new full bed. There are 2 full bathrooms and a laundry room with a washer/dryer.

The kitchen is fully equipped (aside from perishable items) to make meal preparation a breeze. A coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, etc. are all in place for you. Niangua Hills Resort provides laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dish detergent for your ease.

Sagrada House #3 is a pet friendly home. Pet fees are $50 and can be added as a retail item when making your reservation. Rules are as follows:
1) Only non-shedding dogs are allowed.
2) A maximum of two dogs per unit are allowed.
3) All dogs must be on a leash while on resort grounds.
4) Dogs must be dry when entering cabin. If your dog has just swam, please ensure they get dry before coming into the cabin.
5) If dogs are left alone in the cabin, they must be kenneled.
6) As all resort furniture is new, dogs are not allowed on any furniture.

Additional resort amenities guests have access to include a newly upgraded playground, an enclosed fish house, a large community swim dock, lots of green, outdoor space, and amazing sunsets. Amenities provided at additional costs include daily kayak and paddle board rental and use of the boat ramp and covered boat slip. Call the resort at 573-873-5375 or email to learn more.

Wi-Fi is currently not available, although will be installed as soon as it becomes available. Guests are encouraged to use this time to truly unwind.

By Memorial Day 2023, guests will also be able to enjoy our swimming pool and shortly afterwards, the addition of a lakeside beach. What more could you ask for in a lake vacation?!

Great location for family gathering

This house was in a great location for accessing the water for swimming, fishing, or boating. The swimming pool was a great addition for those who don’t prefer lake water. The house had a great layout that allowed for all of us to comfortably eat around the table or sit in the living room. Also, the fire pit was relaxing to sit around in the evening with trees close enough together to hang a hammock.

About the host

Host profile image
Robby & Amanda, husband and wife, purchased this resort in March of 2022, saving it from imminent demolition. Immediately, renovations began, and our sights were set on offering visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks with the most amazing resort in the area.

We have enjoyed summers at the lake with our children for years and cherish our many memories made. We welcome our guests with open arms and a desire to provide a place for other families to create lifelong memories as well.

Why they chose this property

This resort was an original resort to the Lake of the Ozarks, with all the cabins dating back to the mid-1940s. Originally Singing Hills Resort, then later being renamed Irish Hills Resort, we had a vision for what we wanted to offer our guests, but we also cherish history and architecture. The previous owners had plans to tear down all the cabins and build their home. We were able to secure the property and renovate, keeping Lake area history alive! We desired having somewhat of a fresh start and renamed the resort, Niangua Hills Resort. We are located on the Niangua arm of the lake and chose to keep "hills resort" in the remainder of the name so that we can stay linked to the deep history of the property.

What makes this property unique

No other resort on the "quiet" side of the lake, the Camdenton area, offers seclusion like Niangua Hills Resort does. We are not on the main channel but tucked back in a quiet and calm, no wake cove. It's great for fishing, safe for swimming and peaceful for everyone. Our cabins all offer guests with plenty of outdoor space so there's not a feeling of being crowded.
