It has been family owned ever since and has been handed down from generation to generation. It has survived two wars unscathed, offered in addition to the owners after the Second World War for several years, a home for people who had lost their homes. Lastly my aunt, mother and uncle lived there. The last few years only my old aunt alone. Unfortunately, she too died. Now it belongs to me. As a child and later I was very often and gladly there to visit and have many beautiful memories of the hospitable and comfortable hours I was allowed to spend in this old house. Therefore, I did not want to sell it and decided to rent it as a holiday home. That would have pleased my aunt certainly. The exterior of the house looks like its age, but the living spaces were completely renovated in 2017 and are nevertheless adapted to the charm of the brick house. However, the old stairwell and the resulting floor plan has remained - as in the days of Uromas the rooms can be reached via the staircase. The courtyard area, with its old cobblestones, is currently being redesigned and will receive a cozy sitting area and barbecue area in the spring. If you like the flair of an old house, or would like to get to know it, you are very welcome.
