About this property

Condo with Pool and Spa

This is a one level (no stairs) condo located in Avalon at Bahia Vista Condo Complex. Our condo has 2 bedrooms each with king beds and 2 bathrooms (one with tub and shower and one with shower only). For the cool winter stays, we have a wood burning fireplace. Our condo is located on the top third floor of complex and has easy elevator access. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

We offer a two night minimum; however if you desire a one night we can see if we can accommodate you ( a one night only will have an increased stay of 150.00 more a night)

We completely remodeled our condo and it has vaulted ceiling and an airy open concept. Enjoy Beautiful views of trees and hillsides and partial ocean views off small balcony.
Additional amenities include Free WIFI, a large Smart TV in the living room and another Smart TV in the Master bedroom. Bahia Vista is one of the few complexes in Avalon that has a private "Bahia Guest" pool and jacuzzi with a garden setting. The is a refundable $80.00 pool /towel key deposit to be paid to manager via venmo or zelle. NOTE: During the off season Labor Day to memorial Day- te pool and jacuzzi is ONLY heated on weekends.

The location of the condo is on the third floor at the South end of the complex where there is little "pool noise" and little to no foot traffic. A quiet oasis that is within walking distance to all the action Avalon has to offer (dining, golfing, boating, snorkeling sight-seeing Tours and more.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE
What a time we had at this amazing complex. Firstly I have to state that as a family of business owners, it is so difficult to actually get away. Even when we do, there’s always work related issues lingering and really preventing that feeling of “vacation.” Our stay here (6 days) was such a realization and epiphany that getting away is a possibility and much needed. This condo/apartment was absolutely perfect. We had 4 adults and 3 kids who all fit perfectly. It was hot in Catalina, and most locations don’t have an A/C units, but this place did and accommodated perfectly. The full kitchen is outfitted with everything needed. Everything is within walking distance, so if you had to run up the street for supplies, you’ll be good to go. The pool and jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. After full days of fun in the sun, the pool and jacuzzi just made it all the better. The community in the complex were so friendly, and just added to the whole package for us. The manager Allison, is by far the most helpful and most communicative. If you need anything, I know I can say she will get it done for you. We wanted to stay another day- boom, she made it happen. We forgot our kids’s blankets (parents you know the horror of forgetting that ONE SPECIAL ITEM) Allison shipped them home for us. She is the reason we are forever staying at this location. You won’t regret your stay- it is worth every penny.

We all enjoyed our stay in Avalon in this cute condo. Everything was so easy and smooth, with great responsiveness when we had a question. It was hot when we stayed and having the one air conditioner in the master bedroom was a nice relief from the heat. Thank you!

The place is just as described and is clean. Property manager is communicative and check in is super easy. The place is spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. One suggestion to make the place even better is to have higher quality shampoo and conditioner.

Wonderful short family vacation
Nice comfortable stay in Avalon. Walkable from the ferry and to the beaches (even my parents in their 80’s were able to walk with their wheeled baggage) and to the Casino. Felt safe. Great pool and hot tub (main reason we chose the location). There is a bit of road traffic outside the window as this street is along one of the golf cart tour routes. AC unit only in the master bedroom. Definitely would stay here again in the future!

We had great time at this condo. The location was great. We didn't use the pull out sofa bed because the coffee table was too big and heavy to move. So one of us slept on the main bedroom sofa. I would definitely stay here again.

Communication was great with the PM Allison. She graciously let us check out late to align with our ferry time. We stayed for the Catalina Wine Mixer which was at the beach club. A bit of a far walk to the beach club but central to the ferry, shops, restaurants, etc. The unit was clean and well furnished. Would stay again!

Enjoyed my first trip to Avalon. The place had a lovely view from the small balcony. It was clean and the host communicated well everything we needed to know. It was an easy walk to town. I would stay here again.

It began with demanding trash removal and then asked my brother for a tip….as a rental property owner - I know better and would never do business with somone like Alison again….above and beyond everything was in working order and met our expectations

Excellent overnight in Avalon
I highly recommend this unit and would stay here again. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet but also a short walk from the center of Avalon.

Great location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Nice view too! If you use this property in the fall and winter, turn the heat on as soon as you arrive. It takes awhile to warm up.

I have been coming here with my family since 1969. My family came to Catalina as a boating destination and fell in love with Avalon and wanted a place we could call home. Four generations have enjoyed the island and all of the wonderful activities it has to offer. My family and I are avid sportsman we enjoy the crystal clear water to Scuba Dive, beautiful coastal scenery for kayaking stand up paddle boarding & the views for hiking, and the beautiful clean beaches to relax on.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy a vacation rental at this location because no where else can you get an island retreat so close and economically convenient in Southern California. The island has so many fun activities all with in walking distance.

What makes this property unique

Our Condo is on the third floor accessible via an elevator with only a few steps at the entrance of the condo complex. Located at the South end of the complex, you will not here many noises from the pool and other condos... a plus for sure! All guests have access to the pool and jacuzzi (your local host will collect the pool key deposit).
