Classic Cottage feel. Centrally located to all the U.P has to offer. Short drive to Kitch-iti-Kipi Springs, or take a 1 hour drive to lake superior. There's Swimming lake access just 100ft from the Cottage. You can walk hundreds of feet out in the Lake, Sandy bottom and its up to your waste!

What a wonderful spot

We spent 5 days at this cozy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We traveled an hour or more to Hiawatha National Forest, The Grand Island, and Kitch ipi kitchi. We found several beaches too! Be sure to walk down the street to the public access beach entrance of Indian River. It's such a beautiful spot to spend time at while at the cottage. A few other things: -A very quiet neighborhood -Responsive and considerate owners. Had a maintenance issue and they responded immediately and had everything fixed before we got back from hiking.....and they offered us some additional time at the cottage for the inconvenience. Really not necessarily, but sincerely appreciated. -No wifi and little cell service......but walk outside or to the beach just down the road and it works perfect! -Several fun toys for our twins to play with! -The Grind coffee shop in town is great -The beds are so comfy! -Dog friendly spot. She loved the beach. I will say that the pet fee ($400) was steap.....but she goes where we go so we made that work *We loved this place and really appreciate the owners. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and convenient!
