Do you like camping but also enjoy being connected to power, wifi, and sleeping comfortably. Look no further, Glamping at Big Rock Creek is here! Not only do you get a tent that is fully set up, but you also get to camp on a 980 acre estate with a private lake! The lake is full of trout and you get FREE access to our kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, swim raft and canoes!

Big Rock Creek also boasts 20 plus miles of private hiking and biking trails if swimming or fishing isn't your thing! Or, if you would rather ride you can rent one of our electric Polaris Rangers and cruise our trails in silence, sneaking up on all the wildlife here at Big Rock Creek!

Located just a few miles from the St. Croix River and very close to local ski hills, water parks and restaurants, Big Rock Creek gives you that UP North feeling just 45 minutes from the Twin Cities!

Last day of school getaway!

We had an amazing time. The set up is so cute and it’s very peaceful. Very comfortable beds and extremely clean. Loved it!

Weekend getaway

Great time in the Lovers Lookout 3 glamping tent! The property is great with lots to do for my kids and we had live music on Friday night where we joined the music and ate dinner then went to the tent for the rest of the concert and enjoyed it while we had a campfire in the Solo stove! Perfect weekend.

Great time glamping

I stayed at Big Rock Creek with my two young daughters after a day kayaking on the river. It was so nice to have a campsite waiting for us after paddling all day. I loved everything about the campsite. It had comfortable beds, electricity, a grill and a clean toilet and shower just steps away. This is camping at its best! I did have difficulty reaching staff when we had an issue with the grill, but I would stay here again. The beds were so comfortable!

Easy, relaxing getaway

Awesome, big, varied property with very nice staff. The glamping tents were cozy and equipped with fairy lights and electricity. Cooking on the grill was easy (bring charcoal/lighter fluid) Walking trails were nice as was the small lake. Note that this is a family-focused place with bouncy house, colored lights at night, etc. If you want dark, secluded camping, this is not your place. Definitely recommend for folks who aren’t sure about camping - glamping is a good first step!
