We got a wonderful time playing with the horses, riding and talking to the owner Lisa. At the same time we enjoyed the River trail, taking pictures and playing with the horses.
My family stayed for two nights over the holidays. Lisa was immediately responsive to our questions and needs. The central kitchen/living area was comfortable and perfect for coffee time in the mornings. We enjoyed watching the horses.
Had a great experience, Lisa was very patient and understanding with all my questions- the house was cute and tucked away. Plenty of room to walk- due to rain was limited.
This property was as amazing as it looks! Lisa was a fantastic and welcoming host. The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The view from the house is georgeous. It is also a perfect place for hiking. We'd love to come back!
Family had a 1 night stay during our travels, as it was a great quiet spot. The horses and open land is beneficial to anyone needing a break. Will return.
We had an amazing stay! Everything was as pictured and as described. It felt like home away from home. We absolutely loved being able to see and pet the horses, definitely an added bonus for animal lovers. We would love to come back again sometime!
From the cleanliness of the property, to the little touches throughout. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our state. Located on a active horse ranch, we really felt like we managed to get away from it all on our stay. We even took advantage of the available Horse Trail rides, and everyone had a great time.
We loved staying at this cabin. The farm is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed swimming in the river and taking a walk. It was so relaxing and wonderful. And it is so good to know that host is at a stone throw if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again.
Our party of 8 needed a place to stay for graduation ceremonies at JMU. We now wish we'd come just to enjoy the animals, river, and fire pit. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts...I hope we can make it back!
We were in town for a wedding and needed a comfortable clean place to sleep , Lisa provided this and more. It was a fun adventure thanks for sharing your love of animals and your space at the farm
The house was lovely and very comfortable for the night. The better part is being able to watch and say hi to the beautiful horses (and goats) on the property. Our kids loved watching the animals and running around the yard. Great place that was convenient for heading into Shenandoah.
This is an excellent property with much to see from landscapes to animals. The home is well equipped and clean. The amenities are plentiful. We cannot wait to return. This could be an annual destination.
Lisa was very responsive to questions and accommodating to several itinerary changes.
We stayed for here after Snow Tubing at Massanutten. It was amazing! Wish we had more time to enjoy the property and horses. Would absolutely book location again. Cleanliness was on point!!
We had a terrific visit at the horse farm. Had more than enough room for everyone. Hostess was great and friendly. We enjoyed horse rides and just being out in the country. We highly recommend this property if you want to disconnect from daily hassles for a few days.
This was one of the best places we have stayed. It was very clean and property was beautiful and peaceful. I am hoping to revisit when we are in the area. I would highly recommend!
