Beautiful Private Island Getaway-Boat Rental Available!
Get away from it all at your own private island on Lake Vermilion! This rustic but charming cabin with lofted bed features a beautiful lakefront deck and fire pit, all tucked away in Minnesota's Northwoods. Also included is a separate bunkhouse with queen size bed with lake view out of every window! The main cabin has hot water for dishes and showers along with a well maintained outhouse. Close to public access and marina is only minutes away! Great central location on beautiful Lake Vermilion!
This beautiful log cabin encompasses all someone could wish for in a romantic getaway for two or a vacation for a small family to get away from all the distractions of everyday life. Wild blueberry plants cover the island and provide a nice bonus for some blueberry pancakes enjoyed on the lakefront picnic table (when in season!) A bag of locally roasted coffee is also included to make that first cup of coffee on the beautiful deck all that much better. Great fishing exists in any direction you go from the cabin including off the shoreline around the cabin. Walleyes and bass are plentiful and there is always the chance of hooking into a trophy musky! ***New for 2024 Starlink Internet!***

We are a local family that lives and breathes Lake Vermilion. We are on the lake any chance we get and look forward to hosting you in an area that is very near and dear to us! Mike is also a fishing guide and more than happy to help with fishing tips or take you out for a day of fishing if you choose!
Why they chose this property
There are not too many times in your life you can say you stayed on a private island. Well, here is one of those opportunities! You have a water view in every direction you look and it is conveniently located in the heart of Lake Vermilion perfect for a day of boating to any of the area attractions!
What makes this property unique
The most obvious benefit is having the entire island to yourself! Gorgeous water views in any direction you look and fishing is fantastic right off your dock.
