Gary enjoyed fishing off of the dock. We relaxed and read. We had a good time.
Accommodations were nice and clean. The overhead light had a glare when we were reading. A reading lamp, tall one, beside the chair would have been nice. Heidi and Don
were attentive to us. It was a very pleasant stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The space is small but laid out well and has everything you need. Perfect for two people. We loved hopping in the water, going for a paddle board and having fires at night. Would absolutely stay here again!
Everyone was friendly, the lake was great. We really appreciate the hosts accommodating our guests visiting at the lake and using boats and the dock the one day. A ductless air conditioning unit would be a real benefit to the property.
the owners were really nice. the place was really nice too.

This is a great place to stay and enjoy being lakeside. They have plenty of options for a boating on the lake. The town has great places to eat and is about a ten minute drive. Lovely place to relax lakeside!
Not sure if we were in the right place. Looked like we in someone else's driveway. Small bathroom/shower had to remove toilet paper holder to take a shower.
Me and my partner had a beautiful stay here for his 30th birthday. Had plans to see Silverwood theme park but unfortunately they closed. Heidi and Don were wonderful hosts for us! The lake was beautiful too. Even got to enjoy using their small row boat to fish on the lake! (Be sure to get your fishing license for the day) The kitchen set up in the small and cozy guest house was unique. Definitely enjoyed making our coffee in the morning and sitting down by the lake. Overall 10/10 stay. Would absolutely love to visit again!
We had a great two-night stay at this property. The space is very small, but comfortable with thoughtful amenities. We loved having access to the lake, fire pit, and grill — the outdoor space definitely made the trip. We would return again for a short stay. Thank you!
We only had the opportunity to stay 2 nights and this well designed studio. We wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the lake, fire pit and other amenities. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. I would mention that the bathroom is technically a “wet room” which means the shower, toilet, sink are an all-in-one, so plan on getting ready (if you need to do hair/makeup) in the bedroom area. Overall we were very impressed and hope to make it back someday.
Beautiful spot with very friendly hosts. Was the perfect intimate getaway for my wife and myself. Spent time in the boat on the lake and lakeside with a fire to close out the evening. Great spot. Great hosts.

Disappointing vacation
It should be known that the homeowner lives 20 ft away from your non air conditioned studio. The main problem is that you have no privacy as the house is so close to the rental. You are essentially staying in a strangers driveway. We were so uncomfortable we left a day early. The parking situation is not suitable for large vehicles mostly due to all the visiting vehicles parked there. Not to mention if you are more than the average sized person, you will not be seated forward on the toilet!
I booked a quick overnight for my daughter who was traveling back to college in Montana from Seattle. She and her roommate went to Silverwood the day of, so arrived to home pretty late.
They said they were bummed they were only there mostly to sleep.
They said the house was clean and adorable and they loved sitting on the dock in the morning and having their coffee. Will be a regular layover for our family if available.
I wish we had one more day at this place. The hosts are incredible. They are personable and enjoyable to visit with. The place itself is small but you don’t need much when you are going to sit by the lake, swim and just relax. It was perfect for us. The wet room (shower and toilet) all in the same space was first for us but it was awesome. Definitely give this place 5 out of 5 stars.
What a cool spot for a lake vacation! My 12yo daughter and I stayed at Heidi and Don's amazing little guest house while in Idaho to take in Silverwood Theme Park in July. They were so hospitable, quick to communicate and overall, lovely people (we got to chat in person with them!) who made the experience easy from start to finish!
It's only a few steps from the lake, which is beautiful with the mountains. It's clean, clear and not too cold! We loved diving off the dock and swimming in it and went for a sunset kayak. Gorgeous!
The guest house was set up so well and had a great vibe. It's small, as advertised but plenty of room for 2 people who were off adventuring most of the time. They had games and such available as well as fun stuff for enjoying the water.
The area was quiet and peaceful. There were all the amenities around you'd need (grocery store, a great Mexican restaurant, gas station, etc) and it was a quick 20 min drive to Silverwood.
We have only great things to say!
My wife and I really enjoyed our time at this beautiful lakefront property. Don and Heidi are kind, generous hosts. We appreciated the many and various amenities included with this affordable listing. While dining at Sedlmayer's restaurant, a nice lady told me that visiting Spirit Lake is a real treat. I couldn't agree more.
It is a beautiful little tiny house. I love the way it was designed. The bed isn’t the most comfortable but for a few nights it will do!!!! They were very helpful and kind
It was such a wonderful experience, the lake was beautiful and we really enjoyed use of the boats and fire pit! Very comfortable and cozy cabin and the bathroom is wonderful 👍
So quiet we slept on way later than we normally would have, and when we woke the coffee on the lake was a great way to start the day!
Cottage was great, clean, comfortable and inviting. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Host was very accommodating and even had a fire pit going for us by the lake. Very cute downtown and not far from Coeur d’Alene. Highly recommend.
Great little one room guesthouse with lake access. Clean and comfortable. Took the paddle boat to Sedlmayers for dinner, boated around the lake, floated off the dock and had a firepit under the stars. Great location. Not suitable for someone that can’t do stairs.

We've been hosting guests for many years, we enjoy sharing our beautiful lake and view! We live in the main house and are opening the guest house to our visitors! Hope you love it here as much as we do, all seasons are wonderful. Swimming, boating and fishing all summer, and lots of hiking and bike riding during fall and spring. Our magical winters get plenty of snow for sledding, tubing, snow skiing and ice skating or fishing on the frozen lake.
