About the host
Hosted by Elizabeth Watkins

My husband and I grew up on the east coast in New York and Maine. We moved to Colorado in 2004 and immediately fell in love with the climate, the people and the great outdoors.
Why they chose this property
After living in downtown Colorado Springs for 15 years we started looking for a quiet, family friendly neighborhood that was less crowded where we could raise our kids. This house checked all those boxes and more.
What makes this property unique
What sets this property apart is the location. It's a hidden gem, which many locals don't even know about. You can walk out the door and be on miles of new hiking and biking trails. In less than a half mile walk you can be in a beautiful open space with spectacular views of Pikes Peak and a spring fed pond, which is great for fishing in the summer, or ice skating in the winter. Two miles down the street you're in the Air Force Academy and if you go the other direction you have a Bass Pro, Go Karts, Top Golf, indoor skydiving, indoor trampoline, movie theaters and restaurants.
