The house was the right size for us and the open concept living room/dining room/kitchen was very nice. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.Host was very responsive and there was plenty of parking.
My wife and I had another great stay at this property. The location is ideal for visiting our kids in college. We will definitely look at staying here again in the fall.
This property was perfect for our getaway, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Perfect for us. Excellent communication with the host. Clean and modern. Great location with most attractions just minutes away. Hope to stay here again in the future.
Loved the property as it looked exactly like the pictures. Was extremely clean and in a great part of town. Close to granddads bluff too! Host was especially welcoming and was very to quick respond with any need. Would stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here with a friend while we were in town for a wedding. Our weekend stay was lovely. The home is nicely decorated, clean, and cozy!
Yes the home is right next to the train tracks, which are pretty active, but it didn’t bother us very much. We made use of the white noise machines :)
The living room is big and open with a large comfy couch great for watching movies! We loved the proximity to the wedding venue, restaurants, and bars. Great stay!
Cute, bright and airy ! Out of the thick of things but still close to all La Crosse good stuff. Host was easy to work with. We would be happy to stay here again.
This property has been nicely remodeled. The kitchen and main room were perfect for my family. We really didn’t want to board our older dog so this property was the perfect option. Next time we are back in town we will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for several days and really enjoyed our stay. The home was welcoming, clean, and updated. Michaela was very communicative during our stay. There is a bar right across the street and a golf course that’s reasonably priced nearby. The only thing to pass along to others would be that it is very close to the train tracks which has frequent freight trains. It didn’t bother us much though. Would definitely stay here again!!
Perfect for four people. Excellent communication with the host. Beautiful view of Grandad Bluff and passing trains from the property. Short drive to downtown and shopping. Safe neighborhood with friendly dog walking neighbors. Bring dog treats because the prior resident used to hand them out, so they remember getting treats. Light sleepers may need earplugs, but we liked the trains.
Everything updated and welcoming. Close to the Oktoberfest events but not close enough to walk. Fun tavern across the train tracks. The very very close train tracks.
This home was well done inside. For an older home. The owner remodeled it beautifully! The openness & functionality of the home fit us well. Chloe our Corgi ❤️’d it as well! She definitely made herself at home.
I definitely would stay here again!
This home has obviously been newly remodeled. Everything is modern, clean, fresh and in perfect condition. All the kitchen basics are there. Beds are very firm, even a dog bed was provided!
Very nice comfortable, clean and covenant home in LaCrosse.
Only suggestion is a better digital entry lock on door, difficult to see keypad and operate.
The house was great! Very clean, cute, and cozy. The 3 stars for location/neighborhood is only because the train tracks are right there and constantly running, but then again the view from the base of the bluffs can make up for it! The trains didn't bother our stay, but something to keep in mind. Otherwise the neighborhood is very quaint and quiet. Communication with Michaela was always very prompt. I didn't automatically receive the check-in/out information (or I did and it's user error) but Michaela was very quick to respond with all instructions. We loved the house and would definitely stay here again!
Location was very convenient to access downtown and anything we needed.
Parking in front of garage worked great and access to house was right there. The breezeway provided storage for bukes and coolers.
The house was clean and very comfortable. 2 bedrooms and we discovered 1 room had a firm mattress and the other was much less firm so based on your preference you have choices. Kitchen was very well equipped and propane grill outside gave options
The view of the bluffs right outside the front door was really cool.
Great host and great communication. Highly recommend this for your stay in La Cross
The interior of the home is very nice and newly remodeled. There is definitely a lot of traffic between cars going up to Granddads Bluff and trains going by so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or turn up the sound machines. The neighborhood itself was quiet and we felt safe. We'd stay here again! The only thing missing was a binder or list on what to do at check out and I didn't receive info on how to get into the property until I messaged the host (she was responsive.)
2 couples came to Lacrosse to go to Octoberfest with one of our daughters, who is a University student. We were a half mile from her home, which was nice to be away from the chaos of downtown.
As it says in many reviews, this home is right across from railroad tracks. I appreciated that the intersection does not require the train to blow it's horn. So at night, all you hear is the train going down the tracks, no blaring horn. There are sound machines in each room to accomodate.
The house is very clean and well kept. The king sized bed was VERY firm.
We did a little cooking and found a nicely stocked kitchen for all of our needs.
A fun quaint bar with a nice outdoor patio is across the tracks. We enjoyed inexpensive drinks while watching the golfers across the street!
