This lovely, quiet cottage is situated on a cul de sac. Two steps from the property is the entrance to Seal Bay Nature Park. The cottage is modern and well equipped. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Everything from cookware to bedding is top notch quality. I will come back again and again. Thank you.
Very relaxing and well put together cottage. Situated really close Comox / Courtney and right beside Seal Bay Park. Great for dog walks and taking in the ocean air. Andrea was able to answer any questions and a great host. Martin Amy Kara
The cottage is in a great location especially if you like a peaceful and tranquil place to stay. It’s next to a forest. There are some lovely walking paths through the forest and one of them takes you to Seal Bay Cove, which is lovely.
Property is well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking apparel, utensils and cleaning products. Plenty of room to sleep six. Towels and amenities are provided. A lot of thought was put into setting up this cottage.
It’s a 10-15 minute drive to Comox or Courtney.
Everything you need can be found in either location.
I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were very attentive and replied quickly to any questions we had.
Would definitely stay there again!
We had a lovely stay at the cottage which had everything we needed as a family with young kids to enjoy exploring Courtenay, Comox and the surrounding areas!! the place was cozy, clean and just beautiful! Can’t wait to stay here again :)
From the initial contact through to check-out, our experience at Parkside Cottage was exceptional. All the little touches were there including fully equipped kitchen with an assortment of staple items supplied, bathroom with plenty of towels, bedrooms with plenty of storage and comfy beds.
The outdoor areas were great too with a covered porch and a patio with gas BBQ. The proximity to Seal Bay Park (trail entrance right next door), the airport, and the relative closeness of Courtney make this an ideal property to stay at. The hosts do their best to make this property the best that we have ever stayed in!
This cottage is bright, spacious, very clean and well laid out with all the amenities one could want. It’s easy to find and check-in is a breeze. The property is quiet and at night there’s no city lights to obstruct star gazing. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.
We had a wonderful time at the Parkside Cottage. We traveled with our toddler and small dog, and felt right at home. The cottage was well equipped and kid friendly. The fenced yard was great for our dog and toddler to run around. The location is right beside the Seal Bay Park trailhead, which had wonderful trails. I highly recommend this property!
We really enjoyed our stay in this very clean and comfy home! It was close enough to the city to enjoy the amenities but also removed enough to enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
Andrea and Scott have a cozy, welcoming cottage with everything you might need for a family stay. We were in town for a family reunion with four adults. Five-star comfort and tranquility.
Loved the outside sitting area and table fireplace.
A lovely, private, rural property with great access to nature trails. Perfect for relaxing in comfort, with the added bonus of being dog friendly. We enjoyed evenings both outside and in, benefitting from thoughtful styling and amenities. Many thanks to Andrea and Scott for hosting us. We hope to be back!
Excellent place for awesome weekend. The cottage was very private and had easy access to the park and trails. Thank you. We would highly recommend this property.
The house was really lovely and like new. Nicely appointed with any kitchen gadget you could need and the overall amenities were great.
We had our dog with us and it was wonderful having a fully enclosed lot around the house. It’s next door to a gorgeous trail system in the forest with access to Seal Bay park.
We’ll definitely stay again!
Very well equiped in all aspects. Stylish comfortable furnishings, very comfortable beds, lovely quiet area, clean. The person who runs this property cares about it and it shows.
Great property in a quiet rural setting. Listing included a hot tub, but was not there. Very clean and just a short drive to conveniences. Would highly recommend this property to others interested in this area.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage with our baby and 2 small dogs. It had everything we needed, including a big yard for the dogs to run around in. Tons of things to do nearby with the dogs, including the fantastic trails right next door in Seal Bay (including a beautiful walk to the ocean where we saw Seals and Bald Eagles everytime). There is also a dog friendly leash optional sand beach (Saratoga Beach) within a 20 min drive. Andrea is a fantastic host and we look forward to coming back!

Hi, we are your hosts, Scott and Andrea Pelly. We are a family of 4 that moved from North Vancouver in August 2021 to this beautiful acreage in the Comox Valley. We love the space our new property provides us. We both like to work in the yard and Scott can pursue his woodworking passion. We enjoy all the things to do in the beautiful Comox Valley. We had been vacationing here for years skiing and Mountian biking on Mount Washington Alpine Resort and finally decided to call this home. We welcome you to our cottage!
