A LITTLE TOUR AROUND THE HOUSE
Once you enter the house you end up directly in the kitchen with dining place. A castle tower-like staircase which leads to two rooms in the first floor.

At the ground floor beneath the staircase the elongated bathroom is located, at end of which the toilet is enthroned. In a deep wall niche there is the sink is located with its washing stand. At the height of head there is the wonderful rain shower.

The royal iron canopy bed in the bright spacious front room „Rapunzel“ is a real island for sleep and recreation. Everyone who has tested it, wanted to spend more nights in it.

In the backroom „Rosenrot“ one feels sheltered in the loft bed with canopy like being in a secret hideaway of a castel tower.

THE LIVING CONCEPT OF THE MEDINA: BEING TOGETHER PEACEFUL
You have tranquility in the entire house, also at night! One has to show consideration to the neighbors. In the Medina, (ancient city), one is living together peaceful close to each other. Nobody is disturbing the other one however one is taking notice of each other. Sometimes you hear somebody talking in the patio of the big Riad next-door or one can smell, what delicious is getting cooked.

ARCHITECTURALLY INTERESTING
The two floor house built in the 17th century, located near to the fortress wall „Skala“ and the surf of the Atlantic, is architecturally something special. Originally it belonged to the big manor house next-door, a huge Riad, from which only later on the ESSAOUIRA City Home got separated and received a own entrance.

NEWLY RENOVATED AND CLEAN
The house recently got renovated and is in top condition: Everything is tidy and appetizing. There are sufficient sockets, a quick WiFi, a printer, hot-water at all water supplies in bath and kitchen, a ventilation in the bathroom, a air dehumidifier for the whole house, which provides a healthy room climate. The interior is high-quality and lovingly.

TRADITIONAL HANDMADE TILES
The entire house has a tiled floor with ancient, well preserved and handmade moroccan tiles, („Zellige“). The walls in the bathroom and kitchen are as well equipped with tiles.

WOODEN HIGH CEILINGS
Both rooms in the upper floor and special the upper staircase have high wooden ceilings. The ceiling in the bathroom and the staircase at the ground floor are wooden in the style of traditional Moroccan farmhouses, (natural round timber with eucalyptus logs).

INTERMEDIATE FLOORS WITH LADDERS
Because the ceilings in the small house are very high and one needed more space, there have been applied in the course of time intermediate floors in the kitchen and in the backroom, which one can only climb using ladders.

TRADITIONAL HYGIENIC LIMESTONE-PLASTER: TADELAKT
Above the tiles of the walls in the bathroom are cased with the traditional technique Tadelakt, which leaves rooms proper and dry.

BRASS ARMATURES + CHROME + GOLD RIM PORCELAIN
The armatures and rain shower in the bathroom are out of brass. The kitchen is well equipped with chrome pan and gold rim porcelain. The freestanding refrigerator with a freezer unit is brand-new, as well as the chrome gas stove. There is a dining space with a bench seat and chairs.

THE ROOMS: „RAPUNZEL“ + „ROSENROT“

SECRETRAY DESK WITH GLASS CABINET + SHELVES
In the front room „Rapunzel“ the is a lockable secretary vitrine with a small desk with office supplies. In both rooms there are wooden shelves inside wall niches for cloth and laundry.

CLOTH RAIL WARDROBE
In the front room „Rapunzel“ there is a big rollable iron cloth rail with hangers and space for the baggage. In the backroom „Rosenrot“ there is as well a garderobe in the upper attic room.
