This sunny Florida, single, 1-story home has a PRIVATE BACKYARD and a BEAUTIFUL, ROMANESQUE, 15' x 30' POOL for your personal relaxation and enjoyment. It is an 8 room house (1700 sq. ft.), which includes 3 BEDROOMS (4 beds), 2 BATHROOMS, a living room, kitchen, dining area, plus a private den/office, and a TV/garden room. It can easily accommodate 6 people. Enjoy the privacy among the lush, tropical plants and trees! It is close to the beach, outdoor recreation, restaurants, shopping and many other entertaining activities. My past guests tell me how much their children loved the pool!

This property is in a very convenient and appealing location. It is close to the beach, boating, fishing, golfing, sailing, parasailing, biking, surfing, miniature golf, a children's amusement park, movie theaters, shopping and other types of exciting entertainment. There is a variety of wonderful restaurants, supermarkets, natural food/organic markets and shopping within a few miles.
Our home is about a block away, to 3 main bus routes, serving Clearwater, Tampa and beyond.
The house has central air conditioning and heating. It is a one-story house, and elderly friendly. There are 2 TV's, (Roku with YouTube TV for shows and movies, DVD and VCR players), and free wireless internet. There are children's games, books, and movies for their enjoyment. No crib or baby carriage/stroller is available.
Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach is about a 6-10 min. with normal traffic. Besides driving, you may also enjoy riding a bike there or taking a nice run. Close by is beach parking, street entertainment, the fishing pier, and booths. There are great stores, souvenir shops, marvelous restaurants, boat rides including a Pirate Ship, and other activities. Feel the soft sand under your feet or take a sunset stroll along the beach. There is something for everyone to enjoy! A free ferry also runs from the pier near downtown Coachman Park to Clearwater Beach.
For the golfers, there are 14 lovely golf courses nearby. For the children, there is the Clearwater Aquarium, which was once the home of "Winter", the dolphin who was featured in the major motion picture "A Dolphin's Tale" & "Dolphin's Tale 2", and also "Celebration Station", an amusement park for children.
Music lovers will enjoy Coachman Park, in downtown Clearwater, where a variety of concerts take place on a regular basis, and sometimes with free admission. There is also a small theater (The Capitol) which offers entertainment in the downtown area on Cleveland Avenue. The Ruth Eckerd Hall (10 min. drive) has many high quality events, such as ballet, theater, concerts, and other performances, throughout the year.
The Pinellas Bike Trail is an excellent biking trail that stretches about 40 miles (north-south) throughout this region of Florida. The Ream Wilson Bike Trail is an east-west trail that extends 15 miles to Safety Harbor. Spend a day at the posh Safety Harbor Spa and afterwards, enjoy a fine meal!
It's only a 20-25 minute drive east to Tampa, which has many superb attractions, including museums, sporting events, the zoo and Busch Gardens (a large amusement/water park). St. Petersburg is a 20-25 minute drive south, with impressive shops, restaurants and the world famous Salvador Dali Museum.
Tarpon Springs, with its picturesque Greek village, shops, restaurants and sponge docks, is about a 30 minute drive north. About a 1.2 hour drive north is Weeki Watchee, where there is kayaking from the natural springs stream to the Gulf. You might be even be lucky and see large manatees swimming next to or under your kayak!
A 1.5 hour drive to Orlando allows you to take a spectacular day trip to Disney World or Epcot Center. Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center are approximately a 2.75 hour drive east.
Sarasota, with its beautiful botanical gardens and famous Ringling Brothers (circus) Estate is a 1 hour drive south. Another hour beyond Sarasota is Fort Myers, where you can visit the winter estates of Thomas Edison (light bulb inventor) and Henry Ford (Founder of Ford Motor Company).
During professional baseball, spring training, you can enjoy watching the Philadelphia Phillies and other major baseball teams that practice in the area.
You'll never run out of things to do, but you can also just relax and enjoy yourself in the sun, whether you're by the pool or at the beach!
