Other things to note
Please note the strict no smoking policy. This is important as we personally use the home and have severe allergies.
The City of Phoenix has implemented quite hours for short term rentals and take them seriously. Quite hours are from 10pm - 8am. This is helping to improve the area and we are appreciative of the new rules! Let's do our part to be good neighbors.

About the host
Hosted by Sharon Kaselonis
Welcome to the Family House @ GCU. My name is Sharon. I live in Scottsdale with my husband and two college age kids - both attend GCU.
Our family has accumulatively lived in 9 states from Virginia to Oregon and 2 countries (U.S. and Germany). We love to travel, but we sure are glad our feet landed in AZ.
Between my husband and I, we have either attended or have taught at 10 universities. GCU has been the most welcoming student body we've ever experienced, hands down.
Since we live locally, we are here if you need anything during your stay and we love to share local tips.
We hope you enjoy your time here in the desert and especially at GCU.

Why they chose this property
We love this little house and hope you enjoy staying in it as much as we do. I'm a sucker for 2 things - being close to my kids and anything vintage. This home provided both. We enjoy being close, especially during basketball season. But I also love the classic 1950s Phoenix style of this block home. This home has a unique history as it was used as part of an orphanage shortly after it was built (so we are told).
It is a solid home with a wonderful view of the local park and campus.

What makes this property unique
This home is the perfect mix of peaceful, relaxed comfort while having the energy of campus right across the street.
