Beautiful new and very clean condo with everything you could possibly need. Quiet area with just a short drive to restaurants and grocery store. About a 50 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Check in was very easy. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Highly recommended.
Lovely place to spend our weekend Downeast! Spotlessly clean, furnished comfortably, and it has a great kitchen. Grocery store is just a couple minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back!
We've used this property multiple times and it's always a pleasant experience. Christine communicates quickly and is very pleasant. Thank you once again for a great experience!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The properly was immaculately clean which made us feel very comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious and roomy feel and took advantage of the fantastic kitchen which had all the equipment to cook as we wished. We would highly recommend this property and the host, who was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
What a great place for our family to base our day trips in Maine. The apartment was so comfortable, very spacious, clean, and well decorated! The little extras (toiletries, coffee, laundry materials, etc) were so nice and greatly appreciated! We also loved the view from the kitchen window!
Really enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was very clean and the space was large and well taken care of. I would love to stay here again, but keep in mind there are very few food options nearby and most places tend to close by 7PM at the latest.
Other than negotiating 22 stairs as a person in their 60’s, the place was exceptional and amenities very well thought out. Very spacious and very clean
The newly renovated two bed room was awesome and looked like the pictures shown. We booked a last minute get away for my myself, husband, brother and sister in law and had the best time. The owner was very responsive while booking and the check in/out was super easy. We were about an hour from Arcadia national park which was perfect! Would definitely stay here again!
This was a very welcoming place. There was a large table to enjoy a meal and a large kitchen for meal prep. Having the availability to do laundry right there was an added bonus.

Everything and more than expected. Host was quick to reply to any questions. Amenities were beyond comparison.
Milbridge is a quaint little town & this home away from home was lovely! It was very easy to access, I felt safe & it was more than spacious enough for my family of 4, including 2 small children. The hostess was so kind, the place was clean & quiet for a good nights sleep! It is a residential area, so we did hear a lawn mower and blower/weedeater one morning.
This is a new listing as of our stay, everything about it is new and clean. The value for 2 couples or a family staying is good but is very expensive for just a couple.
Of note: there is no outdoor space and the home is located in a neighborhood. Mainly quiet at night but you will hear daily activities like mowing, bbqing etc. as those under the unit and around it are doing their thing.
A great place to stay if you simply need a safe, clean and spacious rest for the night while enjoying the local beauty.
Though the property was a bit remote and Millville didn't look very much like a quaint New England village, its proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia made it an ideal choice for our two night stay. The Vrbo description and photos were accurate and the property was very clean and modern. If anything can be said about its interior other than ideal for weary travelers, it is that there was almost too spacious :) and that its second-floor location made it a little senior unfriendly.
Would I recommend it and use it again?...Certainly!
It was just the two of us but it could easily host larger families as there are 2BR plus an open up sofa.
It is a bit of a drive to Acadia but worth the drive.
The 2nd floor apartment was nearly brand new with lovey white cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless and new appliances.
The weather was colder than anticipated (windy, cold, rainy in RI and the few days we were in Portland. We were able to wash those clothes and use the few warmer items as the apartment has a washer and dryer!
She thought of everything. You can literally experience this as a home away from home!!!
Give it a try- it is a serene respite from The mount Desert island of Acadia and not far from the Schoodic part of the park.

This location is in one of the small towns outside Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park about 1.25 hour drive. The house was very updated and clean on the second level. If you stay here try Chipmans for your lobster meal they serve only from 11am-3pm, the crab cakes and lobster were fabulous. This location has a ferry costing $18 to Bar Harbor, the ferry will not run during winds & rain if too foggy. Our stay was wonderful.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to stay an hour or less outside of Acadia (hotels in that area are outrageously expensive, especially during leaf peeping season). I came across Christine’s place in Millbridge, which is about 30 miles north of Acadia. The place is extremely clean, and is a very spacious two bedroom, so we had more than enough room! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are ever traveling to Acadia, or simply want a nice get away in Maine. Thanks again for the responsiveness and the stay :)
Great property! It’s quiet, clean, conveniently located, and stocked with all the amenities you may need. We travel quite a bit and this was by far our favorite place!
We had an amazing stay here, the house was well designed and the beds were very comfortable! Just a little over an hour away from Acadia National park, the area is beautiful, especially now with the peak of Fall colors. We especially enjoyed the special touch with complimentary toothpaste and other products as we forgot to carry one! Will definitely go here again :)
