A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!
The cottage was beautiful and a perfect location for our visit to Vino in the Valley. Kay greeted us upon arrival and gave us the tour. The location was great for a walk and nearby bike trails that we did prior to arrival. Everything was great, bed was very comfy and extra phone chargers were a bonus, as my husband forgot his. Thanks for your warm hospitality! highly recommend.

A lovely home away from home in peaceful surroundings off the beaten path.
Beautiful flower gardens surrounding the property.
Very friendly hosts made our stay even more enjoyable.
Close to vineyards and wine tasting too.
It was such a great experience! The lodging itself is so cute and cozy! Kay was awesome and gave us tours and even helped us build a fire that night. Gave us info on the surrounding area. And honestly it was one of the most beautiful areas to stay in. All in all will definitely be going back again! Highly recommended!

About the host
Hosted by Philip Kashian
Both Kay and myself are semi retired and moved to this farm close to four years ago. We refurbished the primary home; where we live and then tackled the gardens and repurposed what used to be the farm's milkhouse. We enjoy the company of others and meeting new people while at the same time we also respect privacy. We are especially proud of the gardens where our guests are always welcome to wander about.
Why they chose this property
The Rush River and our valley are at the north end of the "Driftless Area" It is an area in the upper Midwest that did not get covered by the last glaciers. Hence the rivers, streams and many valleys. It is a treasure that we feel compelled to take care of and nurture, as well as share with friends, family, and guests.
What makes this property unique
We have access to some of the best trout fishing in western Wisconsin. There are ample dining options in the area and great biking.
