This house had the perfect space for our family. It was very clean and close to a wonderful park and the zoo. We were extremely sensitive to the wall plug in air fresheners. There were a few things that a hammer and screwdriver would easily fix in the house.

Disappointing
The pictures don't show how dingy this place is. It needs a lot of TLC for it to shine. Towels need to be replaced and better lighting in the kitchen. Get rid of the plug-ins. Too overwhelming.
Plenty of room. Very clean. Enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again if needed. So close to our venue. Love the backyard and ping pong table for the Grands.
Our family enjoyed our time at the cypress house. It was as advertised and very nicely decorated. The beds were really comfortable and our family of seven had plenty of room!
This refurbished older home is conveniently located midway between the University and downtown, away from the traffic West of the city. And it's three minutes away from three nice coffee shops and the zoo, so perfect for adults and/or kids.
Chae was great from start to finish. Everything needed was supplied. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 5 golfers. Would highly recommend.
We were supposed to check in at a certain time and I asked if we could possible check in as soon as the cleaning crew left. I was told that I would be contacted. I was not. We got there about 13 minutes after the assigned check in time and the code to the door did not work. We had to stand outside waiting for over 30 minutes before we could get in. The TV did not work at all in any of the rooms. We tried everything we could think of to get it to work. Finally, the second day, after about an hour of emailing, we got it fixed. We had to reset everything. It is a spacious house with a lot of room. Great for a large group. It was clean and well maintained. We were just frustrated with the difficulties we had.
Nice suburban house recently updated to easily accommodate a family. Quiet and relaxing back deck and yard. Owner provided all the essentials and little 'extras' to make our stay welcoming.
We walked to the zoo. Restaurants are close by. Exactly what we wanted.
We came to Mississippi for a family reunion. We decided to stay at this property because of its location and the fact we could bring our Westie. She really enjoyed the back yard and chasing the friendly squirrels up the trees. The house was very charming. It had lots of room and is well stocked. Thank you so much for your lovely home. We highly recommend!!
Very clean... only thing the front master bedroom needs a new mattress... loved the place .. ping pong was a GREAT idea!! The mattress wasn't enough to complain.. very comfy, just falling in in the middle. :) No regrets!
Only complaints: had to rewash and dry bath towels because they were put out for us while still very wet. Also we had to buy our own toilet paper because what was left for us was meager at best. Otherwise this place is great. Comfortable beds. Nice big couch in living area. I walked from the house to the long leaf trace to downtown. Also walked to campus and it only took about 20 minutes from the house. Thanks for the stay.
The house is adorable and very clean. Location was central and the neighborhood was quiet and quant. The house was stalked with all of our needs even though we brought our own.
The game room could use some love. The pingpong table was not laying flat which we fixed. There wasn't a net or pingpong balls. We made a makeshift net and purchased balls which we left for the next guest.
Beds and linen are comfortable besides the room with the two single beds. Absolutely terrible with springs in your back.
Floors could use a good cleaning - left our socks and feet dirty.
The pictures were filtered...Like an old lady with wrinkles and she comes out looking 30...It was okay it is the chance you take with pictures...:) Anyway I the oldest had a good time and it didn't bother me that much but it is an aging house ...There are floor issues and I am not sure about the other bathrooms but my shower needed help...it was slippery and leaked on to the floor because there is a leak in the shower head the squarted upward...May just need to be tightened...BUT the manager was very quick to address our issues and came by and repaired the back door...She was very nice and helped out without question...Thank you for that...
Check in was easy (keypad with code provided ahead of time) which is always good. Not an upscale location but the home is nice and lots of room so it was plenty big for us.
The master bedroom on one side of the house was very warm in the July heat but I think probably because it’s an add on. However, it would be the perfect room for someone who’s cold natured and/or a portable AC for that room would fix that issue.
Wasn’t crazy about no covering on the patio doors and two of the bedrooms closet doors were off the rails. Hubby fixed those though. But all I could think was “we’re going to get charged for damage that’s already here”. LOL.
Was a little put off with having to basically buy an insurance policy on top of all the other fees in case of damage. That was a first for me.
Overall though, it was a VERY nice place to stay and the owner is as sweet as can be. So I’d definitely stay again if traveling with the kids and grandkids.
