Perfect House for Friends and Family!

This house was perfect for my friends, my husband, my dad who is in a wheelchair, and me! We loved using the pool! My dad was able to get into the house using our travel ramp and it was like he had his own apartment that we were also able to spend time with him because the house was so large! It was about a 1.5 hour drive to Acadia/ Bar Harbor area but was worth it! I loved working with the property manager, Becca and will definitely stay here in the future!

Awesome Place

My friends and I booked this home for a girls trip and we had a wonderful time! The home is absolutely beautiful and I can’t say enough about the indoor heated pool! We really enjoyed our time and would stay again.

Great family getaway

This was the perfect vacation spot for 2 family’s to visit. The kids loved the indoor heated pool and large property. The owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return!

Amazing Property!

This house has so much to offer! It has three levels with so there is space to have quiet time away from the group if needed, and big TVs on each floor. The grounds are awesome (too cold and rainy on our weekend to explore too much, though). The highlight, of course, is the indoor pool - it is HUGE and very well maintained!!!

Excellent Family Reunion Location

We had a wonderful time in this large home entertaining 7 adults and 6 children. There was ample room for everyone with lots of spaces to hang out in small groups and the pool was great! The house is on a large property far from any noise and was very peaceful. There is a nice brewery and ice cream shop down the road next to a lake. We would love to return!

Peaceful fun getaway

We had a blast at Geoff and Sues home! Beautiful and well kept. Located at the top of a hill with plenty of landscape. We woke up to a beautiful view every morning. Quiet and peaceful. The pool was phenomenal. Great hosts, we would definitely recommend and return! Thank you both!!

Geoff was very helpful for our trip to Maine. We had 3 motorcycles and large trailer and had plenty of space to park on this property. He and his property manager were extremely responsive during our stay.

Beautiful Property and Fun Pool!

We stayed here with my sister's family. There was a lot of room for all of us and the pool was a huge hit with the kids and dads! It was fun to be able to provide them with an activity on a rainy day! This property is not too far from activities in some of the coastal towns and is quiet and beautiful. There are some updates being made to the house and it is going to be absolutely stunning when they are done! The owners were easy to get in touch with and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. Such a fun place to be in Maine!

Friends get-away!

Stayed with 4 couples. Place was in excellent location, very clean and pool was fantastic. Some bedrooms had no blinds and the morning sun was blinding. Lack of outdoor seating was inconvenient on patio and decks. Check in and out was an hour later and earlier, respectively

Great pool and view, but lacking otherwise

The house has a great pool and a wonderful view, but the inside needs some work. The owners talked about doing some renovations/repairs. It has 5 bedrooms but only 3 bathrooms, so it could use at least another bathroom. It has a massive bridal suite, but we were there for a family vacation, so that didn't really make sense for us. There were a lot of bugs in the pool and on the first floor. Some of the appliances in the kitchen were not working very well and could be repaired/replaced. It's not too far from Augusta or the coast, but it's still a drive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we realized quickly that the house could use some updates.

Come for the pool, stay for the view

I found this rental while seeking a Maine getaway close to a lake for my bachelor party. I was excited about the location, right by the beautiful St. George Lake, and all of the outdoor and indoor space the house has to offer. When we arrived we were greeted by a view to the southeast over hilly green conservation land that stretches out to Penobscot Bay. The pool house was a lot of fun, and the massive professional stove/oven made cooking for a large group enjoyable. We spent a lot of time soaking up the sunny weather on the patio and lawn. Nearby amenities include John's Ice Cream (a classic New England stand) and Lori's Cafe (donut breakfast sandwich?!). Don't miss Lake St. George State Park for a swim either, if you can bring yourself to leave the fun at the house!

Stunning property! Excellent communicator

Can’t wait to stay again! We were greeted, took a walk through, learned the ins and outs of the pool area. Plenty of room in the house, the pool area is very impressive. The sunrises were breathtaking. The furniture was not exactly as pictured in the listing, but the owner was receptive to feedback. Plenty of restrooms; towels were plentiful. The tub in the master bath is gigantic. The landscaping is beautiful. I bet it’s breathtaking in the fall. Proximity to our favorite lake: Lake St George—the cleanest, freshest, coldest water in Maine. Best pizza around is at Tobeys. Had breakfast at Lori’s cafe-delish. Head into Augusta for some shopping or Belfast for an ocean walk. We’ll be back!

Secluded getaway for families with kids

The house is spacious and the views are spectacular. My family and I were there in the winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the patio. However, in warmer weather, the patio would be the perfect spot for a large gathering. The best feature of this house is the indoor heated pool. The pool is well maintained and the pool house has comfortable seating, a bar, great stereo system and 2 large tv screens. The house has three floors. On the first floor is a bathroom, small kitchen and bar, pool table, and a stripper pole (this cracked me up!!!). Also on the first floor is the indoor pool and 2 "kids" bedrooms furnished with bunk beds. The second floor included a large kitchen, living room/dining room, bedroom and full bath. When we arrived, there was no furniture in the living room/dining room except for the dining table. The host purchased a couch and loveseat and had it delivered the next day. The third floor included a master bedroom and two bedrooms. All the bedrooms are a good size and the master bedroom is really spacious. The kids bedroom on the first floor are small and dark. While the house and property seemed well maintained, it could use a few repairs such as kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, and slow drainage. All in all, my family had a wonderful stay with some of the hiccups being resolved in a timely fashion.
