Munich Countryside XXL Apartment B - S-Bahn train - nearby brewery village Aying

Our modern apartments are located in a 2 unit house (built in 2006) in Dürrnhaar about 6 miles from the southeastern outskirts of Munich. The S-Bahn station can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. Free Internet access is available. Parking spaces are available in front of the house. Towels, bed linen, internet access, utilities and final cleaning are included in the rent. Bringing pets is not allowed. These are non-smoking apartments.

Apartment B has on the ground floor a large living-dining-kitchen area with a small bathroom (toilet / shower) and upstairs 3 bedrooms with large bathroom (shower / bath / WC).

All our apartments are in accordance with local legal requirements for short term rentals.

Great quiet location. Convenient to local resturants, grocery store and S Bahn.
Lovely country location. Nice, large apartment with everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay. Convenient to main highways. Communication with Rupart was very quick. Would definitely stay here again! !stay here again.

The stay was great, very clean. We were disappointed to not be allowed to use the advertised fireplace, even though it was snowing. The under floor heating was effective but not cosy.

Perfect space
This clean and quiet house in the country was perfect for our week of visiting family in the Munich area. Rupert and Julia were fantastic hosts and provided great suggestions of things to do with our children. There was space for our rental car to be parked and easy access to the train to get into the city. Overall a fantastic stay!

Une maison de rêve!
Maison très bien conçue pour le groupe que nous étions : un couple et deux amis célibataires. Grande propreté, accueil chaleureux avec une foule de détails donnés par Rupert sur les choses à voir et à faire dans la région. Proximité de la gare très pratique pour visiter Munich.

Noch schöner als erwartet
Wir haben die 5 Nächte Ende 2023 in der wunderschönen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Da wir 6 Erwachsene waren, war es optimal passend und die Wohnung auf zwei Ebenen ist sehr großzügig und biete genügend Platz. (Das kommt auf den Bildern gar nicht so raus) Und das wir sogar unser Elektroauto laden könnten, war das Sahnehäubchen. Wir werden sicher mal wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Fenstern und Tageslicht, gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Gute Anbindung nach München zum Stadtbummel und in die Umgebung zum Wandern. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Alles hat unkompliziert und gut funktioniert. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr gerne weiter.

Wonderful stay with amazing hosts!
We had a wonderful stay! Rupert responded quickly, answered our questions and gave excellent recommendations. Rupert even met us at the train station at 11pm, helped us navigate purchasing train tickets for Oktoberfest and walked us to the VRBO. One suggestion would be to stop at a store for supplies before arriving in Dürrnhaar.

Großzügige,schöne Wohnung (Haus)
Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Familie Herz ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus bietet alles was man benötigt. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist allerdings die Straße. Diese ist sehr laut und auch nicht wenig befahren. Bei dem Schlafzimmer,welches direkt zur Straße zeigt,ist es unmöglich es offen zu lassen,auch nicht Nachts. Auch bei den Zimmern die nach hinten in den Garten zeigen,muss man ab spätestens um 5.30 Uhr die Fenster schließen. Landwirtschaftliche Maschinen donnern über die Straße mit weitaus mehr als 50 km/h. Auch nicht ungefährlich mit kleineren Kindern. Ansonsten hat das Haus eine perfekte Ausgangslage für Fahrten in die herrliche Umgebung.S-Bahn Anbindung ist top.

Beautiful home!!!
I have been renting through VRBO for maybe 10 years , and this was one of the nicest ever! It is amazingly clean and comfortable. Very modern, with on site parking and a pretty yard. Very private, but close to some good restaurants, a beer garden and grocery store. Great communication with the owners. I highly recommend this house!!

35 minutes outside of Munich and 10 minutes walk to the train stop. Quiet, peaceful country setting and an easy trip into the city. We enjoyed the quiet setting in the evening in Durrnhaar. Great restaurant in Ayring...one train stop away. The house was nicely appointed, roomy and very well taken care of. A nice deck and lawn area in the back was a great setting to relax. Rupert, the owner, was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was wonderful; great location, clean, very comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. We cooked a lot of meals from the hoys and found the kitchen to have what we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and loved the large windows to look out of. The kids also enjoyed the yard! We would stay here again!

Schöne Familienunterkunft mit kleinen Fehlern
Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind im November 3 Nächte hier. Mit drei Schlafzimmer ein schönes Haus für Familien oder Kleingruppe. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet, etwas abgewohnt, aber akzeptabel. Schöner Garten mit Blick in die freie Natur. Ein Schlafzimmer jedoch zur Straße hin, die direkt am Haus vorbeiführt. Der frühmorgendliche Berufsverkehr kann da im Sommer bei offenem Fenster vielleicht störend sein. Etwas spartanisch ausgerüstete Küchenutensilien, zu wenig und zusammengewürfeltes Besteck sind störende Kleinigkeiten. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es wegen der Heizung, die im Bad nicht funktionierte, das Haus insgesamt kalt war als wir ankamen und sich nur langsam erwärmte. Die Lüftungsanlage funktionierte nicht, sodass man im eigenen Mief im Schlafzimmer lag und wegen dem insgesamt kalten Haus keiner über Nacht das Fenster auflassen wollte. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Nach München sind es bei normalen Verkehr ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto, es gibt eine S-Bahnstation, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist gerade so akzeptabel.

Beautiful home in a lovely village a short walk from the station
Large bright and welcoming. No shop in the village and the next village was one stop on the train. We had to make that trip to get provisions and with no car had to go on the train. Not a major problem once we got arganised. The owners were extremely helpful and had lots of information available to read.
