We loved everything about our stay. This property is in a great location and it has a charm and warmth that makes you feel right at home. Our host was very attentive and made us feel well taken care of.
This house and location were perfect for cleanliness, location to our relatives and old town. The hostess answered our questions promptly and helped us to adjust our dates. We plan to return soon,
The word lovely keeps coming to mind. I just loved it. It has so much charm and is very comfortable to stay. It is an old home with lots of character, while still having lots of closet space and room to stretch out. It is so nicely decorated and the furniture is comfy. It will be our go-to place when visiting Fort Collins. The hosts were great!
It’s just as described with amenities, size, location and the place was so clean and so homey. We had four adults staying and we were all impressed. Great Wi-Fi and reasonable walking distance to old downtown. The communication with owners was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The property is in an excellent location for walking wherever you need to go in town. It is a lovely home l. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Host was communicative and helpful. Would recommend for folks wanting to stay near CSU and Old Town.
Great place n location. Still being updated but what has been done is great!! Hosts were super. Responded quickly when called. Parking is good and outside area very nice with fruit trees. Enjoyed our stay !!
My husband, adult daughter and I stayed here while visiting my son at CSU. The location was great - we could walk to College Ave and all the great shops/restaurants there. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable & we loved the sun porch. Towels were super fluffy and the beds were very comfortable. The host was communicative and we had no issues to report. We would definitely stay again!
The house was clean and comfortable with a nice, updated bathroom and comfortable beds. Lots of windows made it bright and airy. It is close enough to town that we were able to walk. Shannon was great to work with and really made an effort to make sure everything was great, and it was! I definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting Fort Collins.
We were so pleased with our four nights in this century-old home. Such a great location and a quiet, restful setting. Much attention to thoughtful details made it so easy to immediately feel at home. The bed was very comfortable, the towels thick, the kitchen carefully stocked, great coffee provided for the coffee maker, and some snacks provided. The dark makeup wash cloths, extra blankets and abundance of windows were additional features. We will welcome a return visit for sure. Parking was so easy and convenient.
First off Shannon the owner is amazing. She left us treats and fresh fruit. The house has everything thing you need and is very clean. We had an extra special bonus, baby hummingbirds still in their nest in the pine just in front of the door! You can also walk to Butterfly Cafe for breakfast:)
I needed a home base while visiting my son in Fort Collins. This cottage was perfect! Super clean, great location, and stocked with all the necessities without being cluttered. I was able to cook, relax, and find lots of great things to do in the area. We had a wonderful weekend. Shannon was a great host and so kind, offering help if I needed a thing. This will definitely be a place I rent again.

About the host

Fort Collins has been my home since 2005. I've enjoyed raising my children here and love living in the Old Town area. I also love to travel and have been to three continents and quite a few states. I enjoy staying in VRBO's because it gives me a better sense of what the area and community are really like. I'm so happy to be a host and give travelers a taste of life in Fort Collins!
Why they chose this property
This is my favorite area of Fort Collins. It's walkable or a quick bike to Downtown, CSU, City Park or hop on the Poudre Trail and in a traditional neighborhood with old houses.
