Tranquility and Amazing Mountain Views!

The property is in a very peaceful and quiet location, amazing Mountain Views with all amenities in the property as described. We enjoyed the Japanese hot tub, having some wild berries in the backyard, making s’mores on the fire pit, outdoor grilling, hiking around the surrounding areas, and the fresh mountain air and beautiful stars. The host is also very responsive, thank you for sharing this rare property with us!

Wonderful!

My family and I visited the Brandy Gap Earthship to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and an early Thanksgiving. The house was perfect; so peaceful and private with absolutely stunning views. Adam was extremely helpful and quick to respond to my many questions. Although it was very cold, the house was so cozy and the fireplaces kept us nice and toasty. The large kitchen and stocked pantry were lovely to cook in and our dinner turned out great! Everyone had a fantastic time- from our morning hikes with the dogs to our wine sipping at sunset, we enjoyed every moment of this very special place. No doubt, we will be back!

Getting off the grid!

Perfect location if you’re looking to unplug. Home is well appointed and comfortable. Amazing views of the mountains, and plenty of hiking nearby. Would definitely stay here again

The View was Breathtaking

The view was everything we imagined and more. The property manager was extremely friendly and called to make sure we got in safe. The only thing I would say is to make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle. This is the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed. The entire property is fenced in. We will be back!

I have been Hosting for 3 years and I am very chill. I am here to make sure you have a good time, and will always be available for help. Also, if you stay here to be left alone, then I will leave you alone!

Why they chose this property

Built in 1999 as an oasis for the Y2k switch, this fully solar earth ship does not force any trade-offs between being self-sufficient and being comfortable. All the water in the house is mountain spring water and all the electricity in the house is solar powered. Gas logs in the fireplaces keep the house warm in the winter and a gas stove top provides a great cooking experience to feed you and your entire guest-list. There is a glass dining porch off the main room of the house, as well as the main porch of the house to provide plenty of room for grilling, dining, sunbathing, watching the clouds, and morning yoga. The house also features a large bath tub situated next to a window for moon-lit baths. At night there are no houses, traffic lights or roads in sight and you will have some of the lowest light pollution in the state giving you a world-class opportunity for star-gazing. At night you will find a type of silence that simply does not exist anywhere else, only to be occasionally broken by wolves howling in the distance.

What makes this property unique

This property is extremely remote, located within national forest and conservation lands. Humans are not the dominant species here. Staying here is the absolute most luxurious glamping around!
