Great little place. Kind of like a mother-in-law suite that’s completely separate from the house. It’s a neat apartment that is nicely decorated and has just enough charm. I would stay again.
Great property and close to everything Charlotte. We took the train down from Raleigh and Uber/Lyft was quick and easy. The neighborhood is transitioning into a wonderful area called Washing Heights.
A very nice/cozy two person stay that is also easy to fit in the budget. The property manager is very nice and accommodating. The property was clean and newly renovated. If you're looking for a pleasant, comfy but also cheap getaway for the weekend, this is the place to go!
As a woman traveling alone in a city I have never been to before, I felt perfectly safe here. I was in town for a vacation and went all over the city. When I mentioned to locals where I was staying, I was always told it was a bad neighborhood, but I found the house and street to be quiet and safe, with the neighbors welcoming and friendly. After a minute or two of defending my experience, I was told it USED to be a really bad neighborhood but was changing. I felt fine here. It is easy to get any place in town from here. Just a couple of minutes away from everything. The space itself is so cute and had everything I could ask for with my 6 days here. The fireplace was wonderful and I used it every night. There really is no outdoor space here to utilize, but there are many trails and a big super friendly city to explore. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
This place was beautiful and exactly what I needed. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. When I went out for walks most of the neighbors were sitting on their porches. They were all very sweet and displayed the southern hospitality that I’ve grown accustomed to and appreciate. The bathroom in this place is much larger than the pictures show and I loved it. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need with a fridge and freezer. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and they responded very quickly. I would recommend this place and I’ll go back again.
Although there was a vehicle parked where the fire pit and patio furniture (which weren't available for use), I was in town for a convention and was gone most of the time. And hadn't planned any team get together nights so this wasn't an inconvenience to me. I'm sure I could have asked the property management to have the car moved, but wasn't overly concerned or inconvenienced.
Other than that, there were some cob webs on the outside of the building near the door (not a big deal to me). It's in an ok area if you are in town for business use a car rental or taxi service. I wouldn't suggest walking anywhere after dark.
* I do want to note that I am a female and was staying alone and meeting friends and colleagues at the convention.
Kitchenette was nice and stocked with most items needed to do some stovetop cooking. I ordered groceries that were delivered to save on food costs. Bed and couch were comfortable.
It served it's purpose a decent place to lay my head and get ready in the morning for a decent price.
This studio was perfect for what I needed. Wifi, kitchenette and on-site laundry allowed me to get everything done without hassle. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I really liked having a keypad lock with a unique code for my stay.
