Enjoy this beautiful, newly-renovated waterfront family estate located on North Pender Island in B.C’s Southern Gulf Islands. This two-storey, three bedroom house can sleep up to 6 people and is within walking distance of the Island's Winery and Cidery.

Amenities include a spacious patio overlooking the water, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, in-suite laundry, TV with streaming services, and wifi. The Driftwood Mall, a 5 minute drive away, offers a variety of local foods, a gas station, Liquor Store, bakery and retail services.

Perfect getaway

Low-key options. Explore the islands, traveling by car to any number of walks or hikes. Hanging at the informally-neighborly community farmers market Saturday morning. Board games in front of the fireplace. Spend time in the fully-equipped kitchen to prepare a memorable meal. With supplies a short drive away. It’s all here. And a gorgeous view from the expansive deck. Thank you.

Absolutely stunning

You’re simply aren’t going to find a nicer property that’s better equipped. The deck was to die for and the views never stopped. There is everything that you need and more inside and outside on this property. There is no doubt we will return for another visit.

Swimmers dream

We had a such a great time. As per other reviews the place is so much nicer and bigger than the photos. Loved the decor and it was so clean and modern. The patio furniture was very comfy with amazing views and the gas fire was a great addition. The location was stunning, we enjoyed being able to walk down the steps and straight into the water for a swim. Thank you.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting

The house was bigger than expected and oh so homey. Unlike other vacation rentals, the Rawling's house has "lots" of plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and replete with all the appliances, condiments and gadgets you'll find in your own home. Beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms are high tech. The lower floor was so perfect for my daughter's family that my 4yr-young granddaughter loved her stay so much. She now claims that Pender is her favourite island. (she's well traveled so it's not an easy feat to top all previous ones). The weather was rainy but we didn't mind at all because we were in a great haven. Thanks so much for letting us stay and enjoy your place with the most eye popping 180degree water view from inside the house, and of course from the expansive balcony!!

What a beautiful place.

This property is in a gorgeous location with a wonderful view. Very relaxing. The house is very comfortable and nicely laid out. We look forward to visiting again.

Perfect Getaway

What a beautiful house and view. The outside furniture was perfect for taking it all in. Well stocked with everything you need including fun games! Our only complaint was the internet access on the island makes it tricky to work.

Relaxing stay

Our stay at Rawlings Retreat was just lovely. Super clean and everything we could of wished for. Great location, close many things including Seastar Winery, Port Browning, the shopping mall, disc golf and lots of trails and of course beaches. To relax on the deck with a glass of wine and the beautiful view was perfect. A great big thank you.

Very comfortable

Perfect size for a family. We had five people and there was tons of space for everyone to be comfortable for the whole week. There are some nice details to make the space feel more like a retreat than “just a rental”. The kitchen is well stocked and even has sharp knives! We did have trouble getting the internet to work. David was very easy to get a hold of and helped us trouble shoot the problem unfortunately with out success but we really appreciated the effort and they have a nice selection of games that we used instead. Location is great, very quiet and close to everything. We managed to launch our SUP boards from the house and loved exploring the bay.

So comfortable & a Post Card view!!

This is a wonderful property! Comfortable beds & plenty of furniture throughout with every amenity provided in the kitchen too. It’s a great property outside as well with a magnificent view of the water and Mortimer Spit. We enjoyed the trail to the water as well as the lovely observation spots in the yard. Even chairs and a little table in the yard. Flowers, deer, otter, seals, herons, Canada Geese as well as the woods around the sun deck being full of various song birds. This is a must stay location!!! ***** 5 Star!

Greatly enjoyed our stay

Our family of four with a dog greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is modern, classy and very clean. There is water access, though it does mean climbing down a fair distance by stairs. With great effort, we managed to take our inflatable kayak down to a very rocky beach, pumped it up and paddled around. Next time, we would launch the kayak from a easier site, such as Hamilton Beach or Medicine Beach.

Beautiful Space

Stayed with my mom and dad and brother and his spouse for my dad’s birthday. We were blown away by the beautiful view and very comfortable house. Very clean and thoughtfully arranged. Wish we could have stayed for a week.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend

This property exceeded our expectations. We stayed with a group of friends for a local wedding, and absolutely loved every part of this property. The views are beautiful, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook for a group. Appreciate the outdoor fireplace and seating and the easy communication with our hosts! Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to Pender Island.

Fantastic VRBO

We were looking for a VRBO that was large enough for our TALL family of five and dogs. We wanted something rural and near water with a large enough kitchen area for us to prepare Christmas dinner. This place did not disappoint!!! It had everything we required and more. It has recently been updated and it has been done so very tastefully. The appliances / bed linens / towels were brand new!! It even had a doggie bed that my dog was sad to leave. The location was spectacular - right on the water and the views were incredible. The entire front of the home has windows and a big beautiful deck. We took the dogs for a walk to the Cidery and to Wine tasting location. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating - he even arranged to plow the snow from the driveway and turn up the heat before we arrived. We all agreed that we want to come back in the summer for a family vacation and bring our kayak, paddle boards and fishing rods. I can not say enough good things about this rental. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. 💕❤️💕
