BRAND NEW FOR 2022! 6BR 5BA beauty across the street from the beach, sleeping 18. Located in the brand new East 11 Cottages on East Beach! This unit has a private heatable pool in addition to the community pool. An easy, less than 2 minute, walk to the East 4th Street stop light for pedestrian crossing to the public beach area! Almost like being on beachfront, but at the north side of the road price!

Easy beach access across street, less than a minute to a crosswalk with a light! Cross at the Stop Light right outside! Awesome, affordable. Location. Location. Location!
High end features and furnishings. Awesome open floor plan on main level. Well-accommodated kitchen with island. Floor plans and elevations are shown here and this home is EXACTLY the same layout as each side of our extremely popular and well reviewed Night Heron but its a single stand alone home! No sharing! All bedrooms have private en suite bathrooms, except the bunk room. One bedroom's bathroom on each floor has hallway access as well for common use.
LOCATION!
Walkable to Sea N Suds (6 min!), Island Market is 6 minutes too, even Hangout is only .9 miles away, so much more! Easy beach access, less than a minute away, at 4th Street, where there is a public beach, so NO cutting through private property. Soon: a second beach access right across the street!
POOL?
You bet. The home has its OWN private heatable pool. Great size too! It's a 20x12x3-3.8' Rectangle! No sharing. Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82-84' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge that varies by season and is per night for length of stay (the 12 month range has been $65-85 depending on season) gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and any time up to at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive.
PLUS: a community pool for all the East 11 Cottages! And, from approximately Nov-April, the HOA heats the community pool, at no charge to you. Nice! Amenities like this are not guaranteed and are out of our control, but a nice addition!
EXTRA FRIDGE
We added an extra fridge in an outside storage area. Pull up, unload. Done. Need a beverage while at the pool? Walk over to your fridge without having to trek inside. Full size extra fridge!
BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! The East 4th Street public beach is kitty corner across the street. How do you get there? Walk out the door, go to to the stop light in front of the property, push button, and cross the street! No crossing random places or getting yelled at for short cutting through private property!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 4 midsize cars, more if you stack well!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
