Ideal for your quick vacation or longer visit, 1817 Turtle Dunes allows guests to enjoy a one-of-a-kind location on the south end of Amelia Island. Pristine dune-swept beaches set apart from the crowds await! The newly-renovated Sea Turtle complex pool is heated in the cooler months and offers lots of room for sun bathing and splashing with your loved ones.
The Omni Amelia Island Resort is a a AAA Four Diamond beach resort within the AIP community, which boasts miles of walking and biking trails through picturesque Spanish moss-draped oak tree groves. Golf is available at many courses on the island, including the Oak Marsh Championship Golf Course inside the resort.
For those looking to enjoy some leisurely tennis time, there are two private hard courts available for Turtle Dunes residents and guests. All of the resorts' restaurants as well as the nature center, spa, and putt-putt course are open for our guests to visit. For avid anglers, there are fishing opportunities at Red Maple Lake or Walker's Landing. Families with young kids may enjoy the private playgrounds within the resort, like at Aury's Island or Drummond Point Park on the marsh side.
When walking into this second-floor villa, guests will immediately take in the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from the kitchen, dining, living and bedroom areas! This villa's inviting ambience is paired with modern updates like granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Guests will enjoy a fully-stocked kitchen with everything needed for meal preparation.
The main living area and main bedroom both offer stunning views, with access from both spaces to the main covered balcony. The guest suite also has its own private covered balcony and includes a wet bar and private bathroom. Sleeping accommodations include a king bed in each bedroom. When needed, there's also a sleeper sofa in the living room.
The historic downtown of Fernandina Beach is a 20-minute drive north on the island. This charming district serves up many beautiful homes dating back to the 1800s and high-quality dining options and shopping experiences. For those who like to explore little villages, this area will present travelers a variety of restaurants, pubs, art galleries, a museum, and more to browse. Fort Clinch State Park, Egans Creek Greenway, and the Amelia Island Lighthouse (the state's oldest lighthouse) are nearby to the historic district and offer beautiful natural settings.
Please be advised this property is not a rental through Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.” This means there is restricted access to the main Omni hotel's pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and that Racquet Park is only open to Club members and their guests for open play (clinics and lessons can be scheduled though). We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities.
