Quiet, comfortable place to stay. Easy walk to many Johnson City businesses and easy drive to many area attractions. Wrap around porch and fire pit were great places to relax after a long day of exploring.
This retreat was a great space to unwind and relax with comfy beds and a charming wrap around porch. Plenty of room and so close to the historic downtown area. Easy drive to the Albert Dance Hall in Hye and of course there are wineries galore! There was a construction site with workers right next door but I know that is out of the owner's control and will hopefully be done very soon. Thanks for sharing your retreat! I look forward to staying again!!Thr nearbynearnearby! There only r died
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, cheerful, and airy. Everything was in its place and decorated nicely. We enjoyed our time here as it was perfectly situated to visit Johnson City and Blanco alike. We’ll be back again!
Nice property located close to downtown and walkable distance to Johnson City Coffee Co. Lots of cool history in the vicinity, including a cemetery containing the original settlers to Johnson City. Lots of great wineries and restaurants close to the property. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay at the Wraparound! The furniture on the porch was perfect and there is a fire pit and a backyard that was perfect for our dogs. This definitely won’t be the last time we stay there.
This house is so cute! The porch is amazing! Easy walk to the coffee shop or town square for food and drinks. So pleased with this hill country gem. Would definitely book again!
The location was perfect for a short weekend getaway. The house was close enough for quick meals in Johnson City, but secluded enough to be quiet in the evening and mornings. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge with good friends.
Loved staying at this house in Johnson City! Great central location for all the places we visited (Pedernales State Park, Enchanted Rock, longhorn Caverns and The LBJ Ranch). House was very clean, kitchen was well equipped and beds very comfortable. Also enjoyed the wraparound porch in the evenings.
Nice property for two couples. Enjoyed our "wine weekend" stay in Johnson City. Easy walk to dinner both evenings. Fire pit was great. Coffee shop also an easy walk in the morning to start the day.
This is our second time to stay in this perfect little house! We came down for our nieces wedding and it was just right. It’s within walking distance to a quaint coffee shop and not too far from all the little shops at the town square. Kitchen is stocked and beds are wonderful! We definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in or around Johnson City.
The Wraparound is a very comfortable house. We all slept well, and felt at home. The house has everything anyone would want. We loved having coffee on the back porch in the mornings and wine in the evenings. It’s a close walk to a nice coffee shop and downtown Johnson City. It’s a close drive to several wineries also. The property manager was easily available for any questions or needs Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
The house was perfect! Bed was comfortable. Anything we needed to cook with was supplied. The porch and yard are lovely for end of the day relaxing. Communication was spot on. Will definitely be back!
We were staying in Johnson City for a hiking trip at Pedernales Falls (20 minute drive from house). The house had just about everything you could need. Outside yard games, cooking utensils, pots, pans, basic spices, plenty of outdoor seating for visiting with family. The house was plenty big enough for an adult family of four but 6 people could still stay here somewhat comfortably if a pullout couch is acceptable. The location was close to everything you need, we would have preferred to be more "out of town" but we still had nice quiet nights around the fire pit, and enjoyed being close to what we needed.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at the wraparound over New Year’s Eve weekend! We were able to walk to local coffee shops and stores. We grilled and had a night in to ring in the new year. In a quiet neighborhood with easy access to wineries and Fredericksburg! Definitely recommend!
Very nice home. Yes, I would definitely stay here again. My daughter who is a hard critic looked the house a lot too. The house is close to downtown Johnson City. I would not walk to the local restaurants, the road the house is located on is a busy road. Only thing missing was a pitcher for mimosas/margaritas. Haha

Christmas family getaway
The home was very clean with an exceptional bathroom and in a great location. We were a little disappointed since it was Christmas Day and this was our family get together that there was not one Christmas decoration. It would have been nice.
The backyard was fenced but allowed access to the porch where pets can escape
Several things needed resolving once we arrived but Communication with host was very good to help with that
Would stay here again with a small group and no pets.

Nice and quiet
This is a comfortable two bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. It's just a short walk to restaurants, the coffee shop and town which makes it quite convenient. There are basic pots and pans to use. If you are planning on cooking, bring your desired spices with you. :) The beds were comfortable as was the living room area. There is a TV, but you need to enter your own account info to watch anything. We travel with my service dog and they were very sweet to have dog bowls out, some dog biscuits and chew toy. Very much appreciated!
I would have rated Wraparound with all 5 stars except we had such a bad experience when we arrived and could neither see (it was late at night, 38* with howling winds) as there were no lights left on, so it was pitch black AND our code was wrong. With no phone number to directly reach the owner/manager, we could only email through VRBO. Frustrating, but eventually we got in.
