Property was clean, cozy, and comfy. Great place to get away and relax. Quiet cove off the lake. Plenty of fish biting amongst the knees. Porches were great for catching the sunrise and sunset. Owner quickly answered questions.
Enjoyed being on the water and seemingly away from everyone. Host was very helpful and responded promptly to our request. Would return to the property again.
We traveled 2 hours north of us and arrived just after nightfall. This property is just into the woods off a rock road and it was spectacular. About 25 yards away is the pier to the water. The views, the breeze swaying the trees while sitting on the porch, the ducks honking at each other, It was all spectacular. The only downside is the internet is not that strong so plan on using the board games provided in the hutch or bring your own. Bring your own fishing poles and your own tackle if you plan to fish. The dock is low enough for a kayak to be used to fish the inlet too. Me and my bride however sat on the porch all day listening to the trees, birds and geese. It was a relaxing getaway for the two days spent.
Overall a very nice place. Beds were comfortable, the kids complimented the beds. Location is in a very nice place. The driveway does need a little work, but not a deal breaker. Everyone enjoyed themselves, kids had fun fishing/ playing on the dock.
The add had hottub but there was not one there and the water was so low it was about 3 foot from the dock the main reson we picked this was for fishing we know they cant control the lake but letting ppl know would be nice one was for fishing we know they
Perfect spot for a camping in the woods type stay. Not a spot for a boat or fishing off the dock kinda place, very shallow in winter, thankfully we had 4WD. All and all we did enjoy our stay.
Home was exactly as we expected. Quiet in a small cove surrounded by nature . Met the owner was really nice. Home was clean and so cute. Had everything we needed. My only issue was the driveway. When its wet you need a 4x4. Its narrow and goes down kinda steep. Maybe some gravel would help with traction. Overall 5+ stars.
This property has it all. Definitely coming back. Cabin was clean and it’s location to the water was perfect for launching kayaks for fishing. Getting there in a truck or 4wd is recommended.
My husband and I booked this property originally for 9 nights. FOR OUR HONEYMOON! There were lights without bulbs inside. No where to hang our clothes. No where to put our folding clothes such as a dresser. The towels were so rough and scratchy we were going to go buy our own if we hadn’t decided to leave the third day. The outside was nasty. An old dirty bathtub beside the porch. Broken picnic table. Stuff laying around the yard. Burn pile that needed cleaning. But what was THE WORST was the open pipe beside the garbage cans oozing raw sewage. Yes everything flushed or that went in the garbage disposal came out. I was mortified!!! The owner was very ugly to me and refused to take my text messages or call me. I actually suggest that VRBO take this listing OFF. The property and pictures listed are old and not kept up. Needless to say it ruined our honeymoon and we lost a lot of money because she wouldn’t give us a full refund.
Great spot. There to fish. Cabin was very nice. Dock was great. Driveway a little tight for boat trailer.
Other than that excellent place. Well kept. Will go back.
This cabin is EXACTLY as described!! Very clean! Very secluded!!! Beautifully shaded so we could enjoy the entire day outside! The porch overlooking the lake is THE PLACE TO BE! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven! This is absolutely a “return” visit for us!
Had a wonderful stay @ Ledo Hideaway. The Cabin and location on the water was perfect for what we love to do. We watched sunsets & sunrises on the dock, explored cove area in kayak and caught lot's of bass! Wife caught a 4lb Blue Cat right off the dock! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. All the comforts of home with WiFi and a smart TV's. Tip, watch water levels of lake when booking to assure water level in cove is up to the dock. Water level when we stayed was @ 172.3 and the cove was full of water and fish! We loved our stay at the lake, the area was beautiful will return in the near future.
This is a great little cabin with all the amenities needed for a very pleasant stay. The cabin is tucked in the woods and a little tight to get back to however once you get back there it’s very secluded and peaceful. Would suggested 4wd vehicle and wouldn’t tow a boat back there. Besides that the beds are very comfortable and the view from the back porch is amazing!!!
wonderful stay -warning for parent and driveway needs to be given
The cabin looked like the pictures, loved the privacy. There needs to be some warnings or thought given on how to make the porch and dock safer for young kids, or make a warning for future renters so that this risk can be considered before booking (fall risk for little kids). also driveway is a bit sketchy.
Well the wind was ridiculous which made the water so choppy and to much and to dangerous to really go fishing like we wanted to. As far as the place everything was fine with the exception of the bugs in the house. Tremendous amounts of knats and mosquitoes. The front and side porches Definately need to be screened in with screen doors. If you have a camp like that near water and woods that’s the 1st thing that needs to be done. Screen in the place.

Great cabin, lousy yard.
The lot shown in the marketing pictures seems green and pretty well manicured. The reality is there is not grass, downed limbs and construction trash litter the property. The fishing pier is nice and relatively new but at the "deep" the water is barely a foot deep and unsuitable for fishing.
I would not advise anyone attempt to access the property without a full-size truck or SUV. In wet weather 4WD/AWD would be advisable.
Just how I liked it, very remote and a beautiful property.!
Very easy to contact the owner I'll appliances worked great nice bedding we didn't cook we ate out but everything you need was there the only complaint that I have is the trash location was closed so we had to search for a spot to throw our trash in town
