There were some areas that were overlooked when it came to cleanliness, but the host was extremely friendly and helpful, and any discrepancies were immediately addressed. He went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction and satisfied we were! I will strongly consider coming back and I encourage others to book a stay at this beautiful cabin.
This lovely cabin feels secluded, but it's just about ten minutes from the nearest grocery store and Sugar Mountain. The cabin has all of the amenities, including a firepit that my kids loved. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin. It was clean and had all the necessities. The only thing we were perplexed about was having to take the garbage to a dumpster when we left town.
Everything was as advertised. The property was spotless and the outside spaces were large and well cared for. It even came with deer included. Perfect for our family of 5.
We were a family of 5 and had a great time in the yard and playing pool. The house next door was run down and vacant and not enjoyable to see, however, it was behind trees so it didn't distract from the pleasantness of the house we were in. We enjoyed the separation from other houses/neighborhoods and would definitely rent this house again.
Wonderful and excellent location for Sugar Mountain
It is a very beautiful and cozy cabin. If you are looking to relax and escape from routine, this is an ideal place.
If your plan is to ski at Sugar Mountain, do not hesitate to rent it, it is only 5 min.
I thank Zack for his communication and I am sure that I will rent it again on our next skiing plan.
We greatly improved our billiards skills during our stay!!!!!!
We had a magical Christmas week, blessed with snow overnight on the 22nd. Zach was amazing and accommodating- allowing us to come up the night before to avoid the storm. The cabin is well-equipped, cozy and marvelously located to Banner Elk and both Sugar and Beech mountains. Loved it!
Beautiful cabin and super cozy. Only thing to note: if you have littles (ours are 4 & 2), there are only 2 actual rooms the other beds are in the loft. With two pack n plays, it was a bit tight in the upstairs bedroom- pool table was below the downstairs bedroom. Noise travels and its not very insulated in between floors/walls. The heat was epic! Really enjoyed our stay💕 perfect stay for a family with kids with no extra relatives. We will come back just with us😊

We loved staying at Blackberry Cabin. It was close to the Banner Elk town center, great hiking locations, and skiing mountains.
The house was well equipped and it had everything we needed. The parking was ample, the backyard was awesome for kids to run around, and the firepit was great. Just an FYI for those renting, you will need to take the trash to a trash dump on your way out (about 10 mins away).
Thanks for being great hosts!

My wife and I are both North Carolina natives and have loved coming to the Boone/Banner Elk/Blowing Rock area with our families for a long time. I grew up in Asheville and she's from Wilmington, and we both landed in Raleigh together!
