Phoenix VI is one of the most relaxing condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach. Stay in our beachfront premium unit at affordable prices!!!! There is a king bed in the master, king in the 2nd bedroom, 2 full sized beds in the 3rd bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room for occupancy up to 10.

There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix VI. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while you're bbqing.

Come relax on the spacious balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture, tile countertops, and new cabinetry. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls.

FOR LARGE GROUPS WE DO HAVE ADDITIONAL 3BR, 2BR AND 1BR UNITS AT PHOENIX VI

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $55 plus tax per vehicle. One bedroom condos are guaranteed 1 parking pass. Two and three bedroom condos are guaranteed two parking passes. Additional passes will be sold based on availability in the parking lot.

Do not stay in this condo

Upon arrival the condo was filthy. The pillow cases were stained with mold, bed sheets stained with bodily fluids, bath towels dirty, kitchen coated in a greasy film along with the dishes. The washer broke the first night when we washed the bed sheets leaving us with no sheets to sleep with the first night. The extra blankets smelled of old perfume leading us to believe those were not washed either. The main door does not close all the way, which makes a whistling noise all day and night when it’s windy and we had a windy week. When I contacted the management, she gave the cleaning people and the washer repair person our personal door code that they used to let them selves is at any time…even when we were not there. I was not told of this, just surprised when a stranger walked in my locked condo. I have small children this is alarming for that reason and so many others. We have stayed at the Phoenix 6 for 5 years in a different condo. This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had there. Love the property but this room and its management is a mess.

The Good, The Bad, and The Real Ugly

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Phoenix VI condo 6713 location is ideal - in Orange Beach with a great beach view. However, I cannot currently recommend this unit. Nor am I happy with the Phoenix Rentals property managers. My 87-year-old Mom who was there alone one day enjoying the patio confronted two complete strangers in our unit during our stay. The couple apologized and proceeded to explain they were staying in the Phoenix VI complex and were dissatisfied with their dirty unit. Our common property manager apparently failed to verify if 6713 unit was currently occupied and proceeded to provide one-time digital key access for the couple to view the unit for potential extended stay for next year. The action by the property manager is unacceptable; NEVER should have been allowed access to a rental unit that is currently occupied for privacy and safety reasons. I received excuses and an apology for their action, nothing else. The unit looked old, dirty, smelly and was not well maintained. In the master bathroom, there is some kind of stain along the wall to the toilet / shower room that looks like a pee stain arc. It had been there for a while and had hardened. In addition, the long ottoman in the living area had a large arc stain; it appeared that someone tried to clean it but was unsuccessful. The oven was filthy with solid grease at the bottom and needed to be cleaned before use. I am sure using the oven “as is” would have set off the fire alarm. The carpet in all bedrooms needed deep cleaning or replaced. The mattresses were ok, but the sheets felt gritty, and the comforters were smelly. Bathroom towels were extremely thin. The toilet seat in the master bathroom was cracked and needed to be replaced for sanitary purposes. The patio screens had holes. The screen in the living room would not close properly. The unit had satellite service which had issues when there was wind or bad weather (service would pixel and freeze) on all tvs.

Do not book!

The condo upon arrival was filthy which included poop on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were dirty as well as the bed sheets. This unit could use a paint job and new cookware. Very used unit. The cleaners came the next day but did a minimal job of cleaning. I spent one day washing sheets and cleaning.

Family Time

It was nice, the only thing that needed improvement was a few issues. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. The hall bathroom needs a curved shower rod, for the curtain kept rubbing against us when we showered which was gross for who knows who stayed there before us. But a curved curtain rod like the one in master bathroom would be great. It was a nice condo, would stay there again.

Nice military family friendly condo

Thanks for the military discount. Just an fyi, Master bath holds water and was dirty at check in. Some higher quality towels would be nice. Overall this place has everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is dated. The carpet in the bedrooms is dirty and needs to be replaced. The chairs in the living room has covers that don’t fit. The cleaning crew did an ok job but there was a lot of dust and stuff under beds and behind couches. The kitchen is fully stocked which was nice. The full size washer and dryer was great. Our stay was fine but I wouldn’t select this unit again.

Disappointed

The good thing about this property was the view and access to the beach. The room was not clean.. sliding screen door screen was torn… not enough soap for a week..no starter trash bags.. no dish soap.. no soap for dishwasher (brochure stated there would be starter items) rugs were dirty… shower curtains had mold…called managing team… said he would refund cleaning fee..(he was not very nice) for what you spend on a room per night this property is not worth the money.

It was a great vacation. The room was everything we expected and more. The only trouble was they really should have fixed the large tear in the patio screen door, before we arrived. But overall we were very plz'd.

February on the Beach

Overall the condo unit was a wonderful facility and our stay was very enjoyable. A few suggestions for the owner to consider: 1.When North wind is strong there a whistle sound blowing through the handle Side of the front door. Had to block the door seal with a plastic bag to stop the whistle sound. Possibly thicker weather stripping would solve the problem 2. A handicap bar on the outside wall of the 2nd bathroom shower would be helpful for a safe exit stepping over the tub wall. 3. Some small amount of touch-up painting is needed in several areas of the white trim moulding. 4. Who ever did the cleaning missed the bottom edge of the large windows behind the two recliners (pretty dusty). 4. Kitchen left sink drain missing a drain cover.

Great Location and Great Condo

My family really enjoyed the condo and location. Very close to everything we wanted to do and it was easy to find everything. The indoor pools and hot tubs were great since we came in December. The Beach was beautiful as usual. Only complaint would be the mattress in the master suite needs to be upgraded. Way to firm! It felt like sleeping on plywood. We would definitely stay again!

Fall break stay

Great room...great Condo....As a handicapped person bathroom was small but I knew that going in...Wish the pool was heated.lol....very friendly staff...went above and beyond to help build up some steps in the pool to help me get in and out..My wife, our friends and I had a great experience. Will be going back. Would love to have had a journal to leave comments and experiences for owners and other renters to read.
