Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Plenty of beds; property needs work
PROS: I liked a lot about this property. We had 15 people and this could have easily housed more with 13 beds and 2 couches. It's not stated, but there are 2 kitchens.
It's in close proximity to downtown and the NRG stadium, which is where we were going for a robotics competition.
There's a TV in every room and an arcade game upstairs, so plenty of entertainment to keep the little ones busy.
CONS:
*Paid parking. It's $15/night for each vehicle you park in the driveway. This is not in the listing. If you want to park for free, you will have to use the street.
*Poor host responsiveness. We had a few issues, such as: light remote missing batteries and a missing TV remote. Host never showed up to address the issue. We ended up buying batteries. Host did offer to pay for the batteries.
*Property needs work. The floors aren't level; not even close. The air conditioner in the suite leaks water profusely.(We put a trash can under it and it was over a gallon overnight).
The dryer is vented inside and heats up the house unless you shut the door. Because it's vented inside, the floor gets wet in the washroom when you dry clothes.( I had to use a towel to dry the floor more than once).
* Garbage disposal didn't work; was told to use dishwasher
*Bathroom sink in suite drains slowly
*Low water pressure
It worked for what we needed, but I probably won't stay here again.
