Not What We Expected
My sister & I drove from Michigan to discover a property that was frightening and dirty. Cigarette butts, piled in heaps right next to our apartment. Homeless people with shopping carts and trash dumped into the canal directly behind the property. Saw IV drug use on the canal, heard gunshots one night in the complex, and witnessed a mentally ill man escalating- violently one-afternoon making time at the pool impossible. The condo had only 2 coffee cups, minimal silverware, we had to buy salt & pepper, and plastic storage containers, no bowels for mixing anything! The host gave us a credit and we shortened our trip. My regret is that we did not request a complete refund and leave immediately. Thankfully, the host worked with us to some degree.

Not at all what I expected!
My daughter and I arrived and immediately felt unsafe. We contacted the property manager and he agreed to a full refund, which I have not seen and has not been issued. He was very nice, and the apartment was clean and as pictured, but the surrounding area was horrible. People smoking everywhere and a tenant dragging a pitbull around the pool with a chew toy. Smokers everywhere and no lounge chairs by pool. Had grocery delivery schedule and the Instacart gal would not leave groceries there, and later told me it is a drug cartel area. Very disappointed!
