Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

This home is located a quiet neighborhood just footsteps away from the beaches of Mission Bay and the sand! It's located in the Crown Point area of Pacific Beach in San Diego, where there are ample recreation opportunities and quick access to Sea World. Walk about 2 minutes and you'll encounter pristine white beaches on a relaxing sail bay. Along the bay there is a nice boardwalk for bicycle riding, walking, jogging or rollerblading. Less than a mile down the path is the ocean with a nice wide boardwalk along the beach. This home is a total gem because it is set back away from the crowds on a very quiet charming residential street. There is plenty of street parking and the neighborhood is safe and secure.

Crown Point is a quaint, quiet neighborhood located on the peninsula in the middle of Mission Bay, within biking and walking distance to the beaches and nightlife of Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. It is a great neighborhood for active adults and for children with access to parks, beaches and boardwalks. Mission Bay is a salt-water bay located south of Pacific Beach and is the largest man-made aquatic park in the United States. Popular activities include wakeboarding, sailing, jet skiing, as well as walking, jogging and cycling along the pedestrian path.

Driving across the Ingraham Street Bridge from Vacation Island you get a great view of luxury homes that wrap around Crown Point. As you get to the tip of the point, turn left on Rivera Drive which curves along the western edge of the peninsula and has some of the area's most-expensive homes. Crown Point Drive curves around the eastern edge where there is a large park popular with residents and visitors alike. Ingraham Street goes through the center of the peninsula and the neighborhood is bounded by Pacific Beach Drive in the north.

Along the eastern edge, Crown Point Park is a popular place for visitors and residents. The park features picnic tables, fire rings and barbecue grills, a boat launch and basketball courts. The park also has free parking, restrooms and showers. This a great place for family picnics or large gatherings and the park has plenty of room for soccer, football and volleyball games.

One of the best features of staying here is the jogging path that goes around Mission Bay. Everyday there are people walking, riding bikes and jogging along the picturesque paths and sidewalks.

Crown Point is a charming neighborhood that is perfect for enjoying an active lifestyle. It's also a great place to just relax and watch sailboats cruising by. On many evenings you can watch dazzling fireworks from Sea World light up the sky. For visitors and residents the sparkling view from Crown Point is postcard-perfect all year long.

The fully outfitted kitchen is supplied with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need to cook a family meal. Plus there is a propane BBQ and an outdoor dining table.

There are Roku SmartTV's in every bedroom, which includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and many other channels (you'll need your own login credentials for the pay channels). What's more, there is free WIFI and plenty of outlets to keep you plugged in.

If you don't bring a car you will be fine. App based cars such as Uber and Lyft are readily available for local transport at an affordable rate.

Due to insurance reasons, the person booking must be at least 25 years old to book and must upload a photo of government ID to the host within 24 hours of booking.

Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $30 per night for each additional person after the initial 4 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. Thank you for understanding.

We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children and any special needs you may have.

The property has a jacuzzi. Please be clean of sand and sunscreen before entering the jacuzzi. If there is excess sand after your stay there is an additional $100 for draining the jacuzzi.
The jacuzzi hours are 8am - 9:30pm.

We can hook you up with a vendor that will set up a private bonfire on the beach for your family. Includes set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect activity while waiting for the summer Sea World fireworks over the bay. Inquire for details.

Want family pictures on the beach? What better backdrop for a group shot than the stunning backdrop of the ocean or bay at sunset! We can arrange for a very affordable local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family on the beach. Let us know in advanced if you're interested and we can connect you with the photographer.

The house is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.
