Magical Treehouse ~ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Treehouse Mountain is a property designed with one thing in mind: Relaxation. The property provides 30 acres of mostly thick forest land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events!

All are invited to spend their next getaway in our newest treehouse! This beautiful treehouse is nestled among a thick forest and features a brand new Cedar wood-fired hot tub! You'll find that there's plenty of space to relax on the covered porch, and maximum comfort when you go inside.

The main level features a stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a sectional pull out sofa, and a TV. We provide extra blankets, pillows, and sheets for converting the sofa into a comfortable bed when it's time to settle down.

Climb up the ships ladder to the loft to find a queen bed, and a Turkish style sectional sofa for maximum comfort and relaxation. You'll also find a writers nook and a TV here as well. This treehouse is perfect for families or groups looking for a unique getaway!

We have a brand new Cedar wood-fired hot tub with this treehouse! Our team will take care of the fire and heating up, and all you have to do is enjoy! The hot tub must be scheduled a minimum of the day before use. Use subject to weather.

This treehouse features a large wrap around porch with a covered awning. There's plenty of seating under the awning including a dinner table with seating of up to 6 guests. The porch also features a Blackstone Griddle which is great many different types of cooking.

Guests will find a private firepit with wood, fire starter, and a lighter provided.

Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other Airbnbs. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well.

Unique experience.

Amazing calm
The Treehouse Mountain did not disappoint! The most amazing calming place to stay. Tom was so helpful every day in our Rubicon treehouse, building a fire for that wonderful cedar hot tub! The quiet serenity was exactly what we were hoping for, yet just a quick trip into McCaysville for fun shopping and great food! What an excellent stay.

One of my favorite spots on earth
This was our fifth stay at Treehouse Mountain, and our third in Rubicon. Staying here a week each year has become a meaningful tradition for our party of 5 (two couples and a dog). Of all the good things I could say, I think the best is that we love rain days most of all. The ample covered outdoor space gives the opportunity to sit outside, read or play games, and enjoy the sound of the rain in the forest. The hosts’ hospitality and responsiveness are unbelievable, and while the overall setting is rustic, the treehouse has all the comforts you’d expect of a hotel.

A beautiful weekend in the trees!
Our family of four (kids 13,11) so enjoyed our weekend in the trees at Rubicon! Everything was absolutely beautiful, and no detail left out. We absolutely loved the wood fire hot tub as well as the cold plunge! The onsite owners Tom and Elke were a real joy and their sweet dog Chica. We felt so welcomed and accommodated the whole weekend. It is the most peaceful and serene place ever. We cannot wait to come back and also loved that our dog was so kindly welcomed as well.

The New Polar Plunge at Tree House Mountain was an Enlightened Reset
I’ve stayed with my friends and family many times at Treehouse Mountain’s “Rubicon.” The wood fired hot tub is amazing. I highly recommend if you’re a peak performer and need a reset, to beat my record of 20 minutes in 100 degree hot tub and then a 5 minute polar plunge for 5 minutes! It’s a baptism by cold and total physiological and psychological reset! If you can trust to work through the shocking pain of the cold that will actually not harm you, it becomes pure bliss. After nights of insomnia, I was finally able to achieve a night of clear head at Rubicon and then solid sleep! I can’t thank you enough for the relief!

Amazing setting with very accommodating hosts
The property is beautiful and secluded. Just the right amount of privacy. The hosts were amazing. They gave us plenty of space while being very prompt and accommodating in every way. The treehouse was beautiful, an amazing work of art in itself, and very clean when we arrived. Very well thought out space. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Overall it was a great trip and we will be back!

Great vacation
we enjoyed everything about our time at Rubicon on Treehouse Mountain, even the wind blowing in the night and shaking the treehouse a little. The hosts were great. They helped us celebrate our son's 20th birthday with a Treehouse Mountain t-shirt and some delicious chocolate cupcakes. The added touches (the antler railing at the top of the stairs, the little desk, games) in the treehouse made it so very special. we loved walking around the property. The hot tub was amazing after long days of hiking. We will definitely be back. Maybe next time in the fall.

Awesome Stay!
Where do I start?! This place is awesome and the owners are amazing! Lyla, the property manager and the owners daughter, went above and beyond to make our 35 yr anniversary very special! The owners have truly put a lot of thought and effort into these treehouses. We stayed in the Rubicon because it’s their biggest treehouse and the only one with a full bathroom. There is a nearby bathhouse for the other treehouses…The Rubicon also has a wood fired hot tub that was so cool! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub stargazing and having our coffee while watching the sunrise! The property has a lot to keep you busy .. hiking trails, disc golf, corn hole, games, puzzles and books inside the house. There’s a blackstone griddle on the deck so any meal can be prepared. There was also enough seating for like 10-12 people on the deck! Each house has its own private fire pit with wood and fire starter. So many little touches that didn’t go unnoticed! I travel a lot and most places don’t provide these things! The only thing I would say is, if you have any mobility issues, you may have trouble getting up/down the stairs inside the house…they were very steep. The houses are heated & cooled and we stayed plenty warm even though it was 30 degrees outside! There is a ton of things to do in nearby areas like Blue Ridge and McCaysville and white water rafting is nearby on the Ocoee River. The owners are very responsive to any needs you may have and are eager to please! I would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next stay!!

A TRUE GEM!!!
My wife and I booked this for a getaway to really getaway and relax and this place did not disappoint at all. Although we chose to relax, the area had plenty to do if you choose to do so. It was very clean, comfy, and as quiet as a place I have ever been in in my life. Lalya and the family are so pleasant to deal with; they just made us feel so welcome on their amazing property. We will be back and look to rent out all 4 cabins for a family trip, the place is AMAZING!!

Wonderful Family Vacation!
Treehouse Mountain is such a beautiful place to stay! We were in the Rubicon and were blown away by the beautiful touches on the treehouse that made the stay magical for my kids. We spent plenty of time on the big porch and enjoyed walking through the woods behind the treehouse. The grounds of the property are so private and you really are out in nature. Layla and Tom were wonderful hosts- keeping firewood stocked and the hot tub warm. Thank you for making our family vacation special!

Awesome Getaway Place
My family recently rented 3 treehouses and ours was Rubicon. All were exceptional and Rubicon was the gathering place where we shared meals, played games, relaxed in the hit tub, had a campfire, sang along as my brothers played guitar and just hung out enjoying eachothers company. All treehouses were neat, organized, clean, rustic, comfortable, equipped with everything you might need and even extras like coffee, sugar, cocoa, candy, a pop tart and wine. We hiked to a waterfall, visited a few quaint towns, a battlefield, an apple orchard and Fairyland Caverns, ate out and climbed on rocks. We had an awesome time. The owners are friendly and are they to offer a helping hand.

The BEST Treehouse Getaway!
This was hands down one of my husband and my favorite vacations ever. We loved every second of staying at the treehouse and our two pups loved it just as much! Everything exceeded expectations and everyone there was so nice and welcoming! We enjoyed getting to meet and hang out with Tom and Chica, they were awesome! Layla was incredible with recommendations for things to do in the area and made our stay even more special! We are already looking forward to booking this trip again for next year and making it and yearly thing. This was such a special trip and we loved it so much!

We had the best time!
This was our first time staying at Treehouse Mountain and we stayed in the Rubicon. This treehouse is so uniquely crafted and comfortable! They have thought of everything we could possibly need! The Blackstone griddle was a favorite. We brought both of our Australian Shepards and they loved spending time on the large porch! The cedar wood fired hot tub was an amazing experience. Property managers were extremely friendly and responsive. Tons of outdoor stuff to experience in the area. This treehouse has plenty of privacy. We are already looking at when we can make another trip to stay in a treehouse!

This was our fourth year on Treehouse Mountain, and probably our best visit ever. We (two couples and a dog) spent a week on the property. While there's plenty to do in the area, our favorite thing was relaxing, reading, and playing games on Rubicon's enormous patio. We also loved getting creative on the Blackstone griddle. The treehouse's furnishings are more than comfortable, and the hosts' hospitality is outstanding. We look forward to returning next year!

Absolutely perfect!
Our stay at Treehouse Mountain in The Rubicon was fantastic in every possible way! The manager and owners were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. The treehouse exceeded our expectations by having everything we'd possibly need for our visit, and when we had questions, they were answered quickly. There was plenty in the area to keep us busy, but not TOO busy... which was ideal for our relaxing time away from the bustle of daily life. We highly recommend staying at Treehouse Mountain!

Really cool experience

Perfect Getaway
We came to tree house mountain for my husbands birthday weekend, just us and our pups for a little family escape. The Rubicon was PERFECT!!! We have never stayed in a treehouse before but have watched the show on tv and always thought it would be cool to stay in one. So I stumbled upon their website and didn’t hesitate to book. The entire property was so cool and well maintained. Our treehouse was stunning. Stocked with everything we needed, super clean, perfect amount of space, gorgeous views and a hot tub! We wish we would have booked our trip for longer because we really enjoyed our time there. And they had a frisbee golf course, which my husband loves to play so he brought his discs and taught me how to play! Wonderful experience and place to stay, we will absolutely be back!
