This apartment is the upper unit in a 100 year old home that was converted to two separate floor apartments decades ago. The upstairs apartment was remodeled in 2022 including: fully stocked new kitchen with new appliances, walk-in pantry, new bathroom with marble counters, refinished hardwood floors throughout, new lighting, new paint, new furniture and plush Nectar mattresses. Joovy portable crib, Baby Jogger single stroller and two Inglesina Fast Table Chairs are available upon request at the time of booking. Designated (not shared) washer/dryer on site with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. Situated on a third of an acre, there's plenty of room to play, dine outdoors at the table for six, or just relax in the park like setting while watching distant boats sail by. Close to everything! You'll have your choice of four public beaches all within a half mile, including popular Lakeside Beach which features a splash pad, playground, beach volleyball, concession stand and 1050' of beach. Lakeside Beach parking pass, utility cart, six beach towels, assorted toys and six beach chairs provided. Enjoy Lighthouse Beach's 900' of beach and park which are only half a mile away (parking pass provided). Additionally, there are two smaller neighborhood beaches. The Blue Water Bridge and riverfront walkway is only a mile away. Downtown Port Huron is about a five minute car ride, as are Target, Kroger, Meijer, etc. Desmond Landing is 3.5 miles. Several public golf courses are located within 10-20 minutes. Charming downtown Lexington is a 25 minute drive. McLaren Hospital is 2.3 miles.
Access to the second floor requires going up 1.5 flights of narrow switchback stairs and may be difficult for some to navigate comfortably and/or safely. The front stairwell can be used as well, but keys are not provided.
