Nice little get away
We had a lovely time at this cabin. The trails outside were convenient and beautiful and we enjoyed several hikes a day in the snow. The house was nice and our rooms were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Ski Trip Home perfect for families!
Brought my two children (age 5 and 8) and wife to Mt Hood for a ski trip from California and this place was perfect to house us all. Large enough for two families of 4 thanks to the room with 2 bunk beds. Clean, spacious. Hot tub was easy to open close vs others I’ve rented which can be cumbersome. Not far from ski resorts. Close to a variety of food options (not a ton but enough) and also a grocery store for all the needed goods.

Loved the decor!
Decor was great, loved the modern woodsy feel. Kitchen has everything one needs to cook/bake. Enough space for our family of 6 (It does look bigger in pictures) We had a small issue with TVs not being connected to Netflix as it states that they are under how to use amenities, but I contacted the host an she was able to give us the log-in info. Very clean throughout exept for a pee spot in the kids room that was most likely left behind by a previous pet. As stated in the rules there is no shoes allowed inside the property so as my husband and I did a first walk through before our kids got off the car I stepped on a pee spot in the kids room. Easily fixed I cleaned it right away everything else was very clean. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family, overall the host was very responsive and the place is in a great location.

Perfect Cabin with all needed amenities, beautiful area
Lovely cabin with everything we needed for a long weekend. Modern, cozy, and stocked with any kitchen and misc amenities desired. Hot tub was wonderful. Kids room has a TV - which is a great touch after a day of exploring the mountain. Allowed my husband and I to spend some quiet evenings on the porch and side yard. Large master bedroom upstairs w/ bath was another highlight. Very clean and smooth check-in/check-out process. The host went above and beyond to help locate and return a very old and sentimental necklace that I left behind - I'm so very appreciative! One of the favorite properties our family has rented. Pair that with a responsive and generous host and you've got a top notch property!

Lovely Mountain Cabin
We loved the beautiful home and property. It was a very relaxing and quiet space with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the river but couldn’t find the community pool - a map of the neighborhood would be helpful. We would stay again without hesitation.

The perfect retreat
We stayed here as part of our PNW road-trip and wanted to be in Mt. Hood area for hiking. This space was perfect for my family with a really cool vibe. Well-stocked and appreciated the washer & dryer and all the comfortable beds and pillows.

Amazing Place and Location
My son and I had a great stay. Even though we just had 2 of us it’s spacious enough for a couple small families or large family. The house is nicely decorated, super clean and comfortable. It’s well stocked with anything you might need. Check in was extremely easy and the house is in a great location - easy to find with a nice quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of hikes, lakes, Mt. Hood and places to explore. Let’s not forget the amazing spa - such a nice added feature and a great way to end a day of hiking and such. This place does not disappoint - wish we could have, would have stayed longer. We’re already talking about going back and hopefully getting the same place.

Best Family Getaway Ever!
My family and I had the most amazing time here. We had a blast traveling all the trails in the zig zag community, and playing in the river. The community pool was a beautiful benefit for us as well. The house was clean and check in was a breeze. Overall, the neighbors were so kind and friendly. The hot tub was super clean and a really nice way to spend the evenings. Even our dog loved his time here. 😁 We will absolutely come back here again. Thank you. *My only negatives are so minor -the A/C unit was a bit to mess with, but we were thankful we had it. - The sheer curtains offer very little privacy, especially with how close neighbors are.

Amazing home!
We loved the property and the home was well decorated. Donna answered any questions we had and was fast to respond as well, which was super helpful. There was so much to do in town as well as at the house with the fire pit, games, hot tub and more!!

Retreat in the woods-We loved our stay...
Adorable secluded cabin with beautiful views and located near many of the things that we wanted to explore. It had everything we needed to relax, unwind, and decompress. Looking forward to future returns. Highly recommended.

Great location
We stayed here over the 4th of July to escape the fireworks back home. The house was great, the kitchen had all the tools needed to cook. The hot tub was a great surprise. The neighborhood was relatively quiet, despite some rule breakers somewhere nearby lighting off fireworks 😩. We really enjoyed our stay

Perfect for two couples
We travelled on a hiking vacation with another couple and this cabin worked out perfectly for us. Bedrooms were on two levels so nice for privacy. The cabin is very clean and well appointed and was a very good value for the area. We would gladly stay here again.

Quaint and Cozy
This is a great little getaway near all the mountain's activities, yet far enough away that you can enjoy the neighborhood without the crowds. Be sure to check out the river trails. The home is compact, with the open living/dining/kitchen, a good-size upstairs master, a small bedroom on the main floor, and a second room on the main floor with two sets of bunk beds. Everyone in our group was over 50, with the oldest being 85. The beds were comfortable. We had the older members shower upstairs because the main bathroom tub got slippery quite easily. The bamboo mats also slipped easily. Really only a concern for those that are mobility challenged or unstable. The neighborhood is compact, with neighbors on all sides, but everyone was respectful of quiet time between 9 pm and 8 am so we were able to enjoy the natural setting. There's a great fire pit and plenty of seating outside, which we enjoyed each evening. The porch has a few comfortable chairs and a small table--perfect for morning coffee. The kitchen has all the necessities and is quite well equipped for a small cabin in the woods. There was nothing we missed. It was still chilly in the beginning of June. The gas stove had gotten turned off (pilot light) but the host was quick to send someone over to fire it back up. The home also has central heat and extra blankets throughout. We went up to Timberline Lodge one morning and happened to time it right to catch a free tour. I'd highly recommend it!

Great kid-free weekend getaway
I stayed here with my husband, his brothers and their wives. It was a quick getaway just fir the adults and it was a perfect, relaxing time! Everything in the house worked properly, plenty of space for us all, everything was nice and clean too. We loved the hiking trails that were a quick walk down to the river. So beautiful! The host thought of everything and made it all such a smooth check in and out process. We will definitely be back!!

Hello!

I am Donna, my husband is Phillip, and we're so happy you have stumbled upon our treasures in the woods - the Curly Creek Cabin (named for the sweet sounds of our three curly haired children playing in the creek) and Inga’s Basecamp (named for our dog, Inga, who thinks she’s queen of the forest). I am from the midwest, Phillip is from Guatemala, and we've lived in Portland for the past 9 years with our three young kiddos and German Shorthair Pointer, Inga. We are a family of nature lovers and spend our time skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. We can't wait to share our little slice of heaven with you and yours.

While we won't be on site during your stay, we have an amazing property manager, Kelsey, who lives nearby and will be available to help with anything you may need.
