About this property

Downtown Picton cozy 2 bedroom home with Sandbanks pass

Come enjoy your time in Picton at our cozy family home. Located right off Main street, this is one of the few homes available that allows you to walk to all the restaurants and shops in the heart of Picton. The harbor is just across the street and the property backs onto a beautiful local park. The home was built in the 1890's and the upper level features some of the original hardwood floors. There are 2 large bedrooms and a very spacious bathroom with a soaker tub for you to enjoy.

We are also just a 10 minute drive to Sandbanks, you can't get better than this! Please remember to book Sandbanks or other parks well in advance as they fill up and have limited capacity. A pass to the park is included in your stay and grants free admission. We recommend you book your sandbanks visit in advance online, the pass also allows you to skip the entrance line ($21 value per visit).

Full kitchen, Smart TVs in living room, and each bedroom, as well as high speed internet is all available for you.

Our home includes dedicated parking for 2 vehicles.

We are locals of Picton and are happy to provide all sorts of recommendations for your trip, just ask!

Our home is cleaned exclusively by The Cottagely Cleaners, a premium STR cleaning company.

No smoking or vaping please. If either are detected an extra cleaning charge will be added.

*This home is a duplex so we ask you to please be respectful of next door and keep the noise down after 11pm. Closets are not accessible to guests, however, alternatives are provided.

*This is our family home 8 months of the year and while we do our best to minimize personal items, there may be some here or there.

*The County of Prince Edward has implemented a 5% MAT tax. Unfortunately, this is a fee we cannot control and is incorporated into the total price of stay.

Great location for exploring PEC

We spent a lovely relaxing few days at this cottage in Picton. It was clean, well equipped and a great location for exploring the area. We enjoyed being able to stroll into Picton for meals and drinks in the evenings. Very good, responsive host who gave us lots of great recommendations!

Great place

Host was proactive with communication. All checkin instructions were delivered few days before and were very clear. Place is very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the main street in Picton. Would stay again.

Great space, great location

Place was lovely, spacious and comfortable. When we had a minor issue with the plumbing, the owner was super responsive and had a plumber over quickly to fix it. All around great and would stay here again!

Cute house in handy location

Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped property. A short walk to the main street of Picton with its variety of shops and also the harbour. Sandbanks pass was a great bonus and we definitely recommend a visit there - such a lovely beach. We also recommend Slickers, the ice cream shop on the main street! Communication with the host was excellent.

Perfect ladies getaway.

Perfect location. Just around the corner from Main Street Picton and very close to the Millennial Bike trail. Spacious home with patio and big back yard. Very private and quiet street close to the lake. Within walking distance of excellent restaurants and cafés.

PEC Perfect

Great home base for PEC adventures. The convenience of walking in to town for a meal, stroll, or entertainment was a bonus, as was the Parks pass allowing exploration of nearby Sandbanks. Everything was super easy - we had a great weekend getaway and would love to come back.

Wow quelle belle communication avec l'hôte. Très disponible et easy going. La propriété des lieux était bien, tous les outils utilitaires(chaudrons, ustensiles, etc.) étaient accessibles. Très belle semaine de vacances. Drap et oreiller d’un lit sent l’urine, mais pour le reste parfait. Ajouter dr l’information sur une feuille, exemple où mettre le recyclage et poubelle, etc.

This is our home we live in the majority of the year. Otherwise, you can find us at our trailer nearby! Our home was built in the 1890's and still has some of the original flooring, which we think is a cool feature. The location is great and we are happy to let others experience the joys of Prince Edward County!
