About this property

A 5-Coconut rated condo on your own private beach! This beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath condominium is located next to the Chankanaab Ecological Park and the Uvas Beach club where snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving take place in the calm waters of the Caribbean ocean every day.

Our condo is close to beach clubs yet secluded from the traffic and crowds of the nearby town. This rental is family friendly and accommodating enough for a group of no more than 7 guests. With all bedrooms come private balconies wrapping around the 2nd floor. Whether you have a view of Cozumel's jungle or the breathtaking views of the ocean, you won't be bored.

Living room has flat screen TV and DVD player. Check out the DVD library and the local cable channels. The dining area can accommodate a seating of 8 persons. Kitchen is supplied with all the utensils needed to cook meals and large bottled water containers are available for your use.

In the mood for snorkeling or scuba diving? Walk to the condo's beach and you can see the most beautiful fish such as the parrot and angel fishes. Quiet time on the terrace? Check out the hammock on patio and see how relaxing it can be!
South of the condo is Tortugas Beach club and Restaurant. Also close to Chankanaab park where you can take in the snorkeling, scuba diving or swimming with dolphins. To the north, 30 steps away is Uva’s Beach club where anyone can always get a cold tropical drink, massage, kayak rentals, or snorkeling.

What more can you ask for? Besides the popular restaurants in town, the shopping, the friendly relaxing atmosphere of the island, the water sports, the sightseeing, there isn't much else to do except come back to the condo to relax after finishing a wonderful day.

One more thing, you will get all the information you need on where to go and what to do while you're in Cozumel. If you rent a car, the super market is only 10 minutes away where you can buy all you need for your stay.

Lovely property - great location!

We've been to Cozumel many times and stayed in many locations. There are a few things that set the Paradise Condos apart: 1. The walk-in snorkeling right off the private beach is excellent. 2. It's located south of San Miguel (no daily inundations with cruise passengers), but it's relatively close to town, so it's a quick trip in for provisions or dinner. 3. It's very close to several good beach clubs, if that's your thing. Also, Lupita, the property manager, is terrific!

Always A Lovely Stay in Paradise!

Paradise condos are always a win for us and this condo was no exception! Best location in Cozumel in our opinions. Just far enough from the hectic traffic in town when the cruise ships are in port, but yet so close everything you could possibly need! The owners are the loveliest people and the property manager was so responsive and kind. 10/10 would stay again! We loved our stay at this condo!.

enjoyed this very much

Loved this location and the low key vibe... we often "couples vacation" in very upscale resorts but with our kids we like to keep it real and manage their expectations of what they get to do as they get older and take themselves places before they experience financial success haha... this wasn't economy but was a very comfortable home-like place for us to hang out. Only feedback would be that the kitchen supplies need a refresh. Sharper knives, never wine glasses and a few non-stick pans for making breakfast would be awesome. Loved that Lupita greeted us with a 6 pack of beer. Nice. We were there 4 days and did dinner out every evening, breakfast was eggs and tortillas that we bought at Oxxo, never made it to the big grocery store. Every morning there was a food truck outside a club just a bit away - we walked - turned right out of the driveway - really yummy and a great walk.

Great location, clean & comfy, one tiny recommendation

This condo is in a fantastic location with it's own little private beach area. We didn't find the music from the neighboring establishments to be obnoxiously loud, and it never started until late morning (10:30ish). The beds and couch were comfy, and the smart tv was nice for relaxing before bed after being active all day. The huge patio with hemmocks was perfect for hanging out outside, and the windows and screen doors are positioned perfectly to have everything open for a cross-breeze when the weather isn't too hot. Each bedroom has its own screen door, so everyone can enjoy the cool morning breeze from the ocean, which we loved. The welcome beer and fruit was a nice touch by the property manager, and there was more than enough purified water bottles and fresh ice provided. The only teeny tiny complaint/suggestion is that the bunk bed room REALLY needs a dehumidifier. Even with running the AC on the "dry" cycle on high all night and for a full day, that room was still very very humid and constantly had that humid-room musty smell. That room's screen door is right over the pool of the neighboring resort, so I think it just gets more ambient humidity than the wall unit can keep up with. But even with that, this was a great condo in a great location and we would absolutely stay again! It was very clean and comfortable!

Perfect Paradise

We came to Cozumel to dive and it didn’t disappoint. The condo’s location is amazing. The views from the patio and inside are glorious. We had everything we needed to have a lovely week vacation. Pamela was extremely attentive and quickly answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Diving paradise

We stayed for 8 nights and went diving 6 days with Luis at PonteBuco dive shop at Tortugas next to condo. He was an excellent dive master. The condo was well appointed and comfortable, with age some things weren't as clean as you would demand but we are not that picky so it was ok for us. King bed was very comfortable, queen under a bunk twin and then two twins in the third bedroom all very comfortable. New couches had ple ty of room. The Roku tv was fussy, not always working but again, we were able to fix problems and enjoyed the patio so much. The grill was great too. We shopped at Chedraui and Sams Club, if you have a US membership they have a special code to input and you can shop there in bulk. We used mostly cash for everything, about $10/per tank per dive for Luis and $20 per visit of the cleaning staff. The rest we paid cash at Chedraui. If you don't want to get sucked into a timeshare presentation skip all the people at the airport trying to "help" you, they are mostly sales people trying to get you to tour the timeshares on the island. We got a rental car for the whole week for $150 by going to a presentation on Saturday our non dive day. It was a four door Mazda that was great to park in town and shop each afternoon. Having a car or moped is essential if you want to get around. It's a 10 min drive to town. Overall we would go back and stay at this location, it was ideal for diving and located near several restaurants if we wanted to eat out.

Beautiful location

This property has a lot of potential but unfortunately upkeep wasn’t the best. Nothing major and we had a wonderful time but there was a bit of an odor from the laundry room, some leaky faucets and the wifi drops out constantly. The property manager was hard to reach and frequently late. Also, when they tell you to tip the maids, they actually mean you should pay their wages. Still, it’s impossible to imagine a more perfect location. Hopefully they will make some improvements.

Pure perfection

As we arrived Lupita greeted us with a big smile and fabulous instructions. The view is perfect, the A/C was cold, and beds were super comfortable with great bedding as well. It’s literally 30 steps to the beach and 20 steps to the pool. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay! And the Dos Equis and fresh fruit upon arrival were a very nice added touch.

Great condo and great owners

They had a property manager that we had to meet with and she was super ornery. She was mad we were late (our daughter was taken custody for 36 hours in the airport and we had all spent the night in the airport ourselves) and when I said we sat around waiting for an hour for her, she said she "had to go eat her Mexican dinner." I'm not really sure why we had to meet with her anyway. After we were done with her, the accomidations were great and we had a wonderful stay.

Clean and Spacious

Lovely property. Very clean, with very comfortable beds and furniture. Every room has its own A/C, so climate control is easy. The grounds at Paradise Condos are beautifully landscaped and include both a shower and dunk tank for your dive gear. We dived with Scuba Tony, and they picked us up right from the pier at Tortugas next door (make sure you're spending some money there if you intend to use the dock. That isn't difficult, as the wait staff will bring drinks and appys poolside right at the condo if you want them!). Having a dock close was very convenient. The only irritation is the other neighbours... Uva's Beach Club is louder than I remember them from previous visits to this location. The loud dance club music can start as early as 7 am, which made it difficult to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning. In all other respects, this is a wonderful property, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful and colorful!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Condos! We spent most of our time just chilling in the balcony laying in the hammock and soaking up the warm ocean air. I loved the view from all of the balconies. Each morning I would drink my coffee and watch the sunrise from the back balcony. I loved listening to the birds singing, and watching the palm trees sway in the breeze. The colorful paint colors (oranges, teals, reds, and blues) were vibrant and fun and made me feel happy. We were thankful for the clean water that was provided for drinking. We were also happy to have access to a variety of snorkel gear! We enjoyed snorkeling at our beach area and also at the shoreline area down the street by the Money Bar. We rented a car and we’re able to spend the day seeing Punta De Sur (beautiful!!) and driving around the rest of the island. The shrimp tacos at La Mirador were delicious and the view was breathtaking! The Sullivan’s were fabulous hosts! They were easy to communicate with and provided us with suggestions on where to rent bikes and how to get to Playa Cielo. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pillows were super soft and comfy! Best I’ve ever had a a short term rental :). The decor was very tastefully done. I loved their choice of paint colors, furniture, and artwork on the walls. The only negative was that directly next door to our condos was a beach club for Cruise Ship “experiences”. So every day, there was loud music coming from the beach club. In the mornings and at night though it was very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time at Paradise Condos and will definitely consider visiting again in the future!

Beautiful Condo

We loved staying at the condo - it was spacious, very clean and comfortable! We loved having the private beach but with access on either side to the Beach Clubs…we especially enjoyed Tortegas and diving with Ponte Buzo - so convenient!! The only thing to get used to was the music during the day from the Beach Club, sometimes it was quite loud and 8am seems a bit early for it to start, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back!

The never ending winter

Slice of Paradise Condo is very nice. The view is beautiful and the snorkeling is just as beautiful! My husband and I have been to Cozumel many times over the past 20 years and have stayed in many houses and condos, but we have never stayed this far south. I didn't think we would enjoy it because of all of the cruise ship people and tourist activity but that wasn't an issue at all. For the most part we had our beach area all to ourselves! We usually rent houses because I absolutely detest smelling the cigarette smoke from other vacationers and the only day I smelled that was the very last day! It was wonderful that the other people staying in this condo complex were non smokers like us. The condo had everything we needed and everyone was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks to those who left prior reviews saying "bring your water shoes" the coral is sharp but the beach and snorkeling is well worth it!

Amazing property

Great for our family of 5

Our family stayed here over the holidays. We love the location of the condo: on the beach, not too far from the downtown area, and with restaurants on each side so you have food and drink options without leaving the beach. The condo is roomy, very well maintained, and beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed hanging out on the patio in the hammock. We didn't cook much in the condo, but when we did we found all the items needed to prepare our meal. The beach is very nice. There are a few rocks at the entrance to the ocean, but once you pass them, the snorkeling is great! New beach loungers arrived during our stay to replace ones that were broken. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated in a timely manner whenever we had a question. We definitely hope to stay here on our next visit to Cozumel!

Sunny, Warm and Inviting

The kitchen was well equip. The property manager was able to help us with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the cold beer in the fridge after a long day of travel it was much appreciated, as well as the fresh fruit. The property is clean and the pool was perfect for lounging. We ate next door a couple of times and the food was great and the staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable, I do wish there was a blanket on the beds as we got chilly at night with all the windows/doors open. We have nothing negative to say about this place, we all enjoyed it very much.

We have been 'hooked' on Mexico since college when we learned to scuba dive and headed down to Cozumel. Now, with our family in tow, we head to Mexico both to the coast (Playa Carmen) and more recently back to Cozumel several times. We fell in love with Cozumel because of the family feeling of the island and because we feel it is Mexico's best kept secret!
