Turn of the century elegance with a modern twist

The listed historic building besides accommodating our property also provides home to a Michelin-star restaurant down at the street level. This totally renovated flat offers a great feel of a turn of the century building with high ceiling, tall old doors yet a modern layout with all 21st century features built in. The apartment has new double glazed windows offering a complete sound protection once you return home from the busy streets of Pest. Once you step out of the building you will feel that you couldn't possibly gone any more center. Sas utca is full of restaurants, coffee houses, located by the Basilica, 2- 5 minutes walk from Danube river, Chain bridge and Kiraly street the world famous Ruinpubs area, 10 minutes walk as from the world's 2nd larges Synagogue. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the building has an elevator / lift.

Wonderful Apartment
This very clean and spacious apartment was perfrct for our stay one week stay in Budapest. We were just around the corner from the Basilica and 5 minutes from the metro.Our hosts were excellent in their .communication at all times.

Could not have been better!
From our arrival to our departure everything was better than expected. This condo is located near St Stephen’s church. Public transit was easy to access and there was no shortage of restaurants, from Michelin star and everything in between. Barbara and George were unfailingly helpful. The condo was tastefully decorated and bright, the kitchen well equipped. Nothing was lacking, we highly recommend this lovely spot.

Excellent property with great location, close to everything. Best communication from any owner I have worked with, helped with activity suggestions and secured private driver for transportation to airport. Highly recommend (the washer and dryer are a big plus) and will stay again when back in Budapest.

Outstanding location
Location could not be better: Literally steps to the basilica, Christmas market, Ferris wheel, etc. Metro stop is only a block away which made using public transportation a breeze. Property is very clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Hosts were extremely helpful. We highly recommend.

Charming flat in the center of town
This 2 br 2 bath apt is on the top floor of an older building near wonderful restaurants, tourist sites including the Danube & public transportation. George, our host, was knowledgeable & helpful. We very much enjoyed our walking tour. Budapest exceeded our expectations & the apt was perfect for our needs.

Perfect for us!
We were staying here before a river cruise. The property was great for our group, and the location could not be beat. The owners provided all the necessities, so when you walked in you felt ready to start vacation. George and Barbara were very responsive throughout the process. Will definitely recommend to others coming to Budapest. And we will plan to book again when we return.

Fabulous place
We came to Budapest for a few days before our River Cruise. We are so fortunate to have found this apartment. First of all, George was so helpful. He was prompt in answering every question I had. He even arranged transportation for us from the airport. Clear directions were given regarding the check in process. The apartment was so clean, beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect. We were able to get to the places we wanted to see with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Budapest, this is where we would stay!!

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is located in the hub of this vibrant city with easy access to Hop On Hop Off bus, St. Stephens Cathedral and other sites. George was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. The only drawback was that the interior courtyard was undergoing renovations during our stay. This however is not any fault of the host. We recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in Budapest.

Great place for two couples
The flat was a perfect place from which to explore Budapest for a few days. Check-in process was well explained ahead of time and worked perfectly. Two bedrooms on opposite sides of the flat provided enough privacy for each couple, and the communal areas were room enough to eat breakfast and sit together between outings. Host was very helpful with suggestions and with with arranging tours or transfers. Flat is an easy walk to the river front and a short walk to a key subway stop with three intersecting routes converging.

Perfect family stay
What a find! We loved the location of the apartment and it was well stocked with everything we needed. The host is helpful and available. Apartment is located very centrally and we had everything at our fingertips from grocery stores to metro stops to entertainment yet once in the apartment it is completely quiet and restful. We have a child with food allergies and the kitchen was stocked with all that we needed to prepare breakfasts every day before heading out. Would absolutely stay here again on a future Budapest visit!

Fantastic!
We arrived in Budapest and our hosts (George & Barbara) had a driver pick us up at the airport who took us to our street. The check-in process was easy and while the apartment was in the 3rd floor there was a lift which made it easy to get our luggage upstairs. The apartment was perfect for two couples with the bedrooms separated by the kitchen and living area. The street we were on had several very good restaurants including a Michelin 1* Textore right across the street. We highly recommend!
