About the host

Host profile image
I'm Nikki, and I am hoping to host you!

My husband, our dog Ole and I are excited to share our space with YOU! We are all located in Seattle, but we are originally from Iowa so we like to say we have taken the MW hospitality with us. I am very passionate about creating beautiful spaces and using small independent and vintage pieces as often as possible. I believe this lends to an experience you can't get just anywhere. I absolutely love to share unique adventures and places to go with my guests. Let me help you create a core memory!

Why they chose this property

The treehouse was newly built in 2019 and positioned on a slope. This allows our deck to get a unique view of the treeline that makes you feel a sense of levity and calm. The space itself is designed with high end pieces that are balanced out with warm pine wood to create a cozy hygge experience.

What makes this property unique

Gather Indie Treehouse is located in a cabin community called Ponderosa just outside of Plain Washington. The location is ideally positioned only 25 minutes form the German town of Leavenworth and only a 2.5-hour drive from Seattle! The community itself is positioned along the Wenatchee river. Just a 5-minute drive to the country town of Plain you can find a hardware store, family style restaurant and a winery. Our cabin makes the perfect cozy base camp for year-round exploring. In the summer we love to float on the Wenatchee river, hike the beautiful enchantments, relax on lake Wenatchee or even check out a secret hot spring! In the winter you are a short 30-minute drive to ski at Stevens pass or explore Plain's and Lake Wenatchees cross country trails, sleigh rides or snowmobile tours. On top of it all, you are a short drive away to all the Bavarian fun Leavenworth has to offer with their different shops, festivals and breweries.
