The Mindful Beach House is a lovely 3 bedroom 2 bath home that is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Located in the peaceful Sun Sail Community with all the comforts of home and a pool for guests to enjoy. This is perfect for your beach get away as it is located a short walk from Tarpon Beach and close to all of the nearby beaches, shopping, and restaurants in Destin and Miramar Beach.

The home has a backyard with lime trees yand a swing. There is plenty of room for the entire family to eat, sleep, play, relax, and work. The pool is open from April through October.

Nice family vacation house

We had a wonderful vacation at this property.It was dotated with everything you need to feel like at home. Walking distance to the beach. The host was very receptive and provided necessary supplies we needed. Amazing stay!

Relaxing and Convenient

We had an amazing time. We have 5 children from 8 to 24, a daughter-in-law, an 18 month old granddaughter, and a 67 year-old mother-in-law. Everyone had a fabulous time. Enought toiletries for a couple days, perfect kitchen set up with plenty of pots and pans and baking dishes. 10 minute walk to the beach through a neighood so completely safe for all ages. Community pool was so nice. Neighbors were very friendly. No problems whatsoever with AC resetting or neighbors calling on us for parking in the grass, etc. Owners were very attentive and responsive. They were so kind. We will definately stay again.

July 2023 Trip

The house was very clean and spacious, which was perfect for my handicapped father to join us. The owner was very communicative & helpful with some minor questions & even brought out a brand new TV for the bedroom & new coffee maker same day, when they were discovered to be broken upon arrival. It's an easy walk to the beach & in the perfect location. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Could have been better

Positives: The house was really clean when we arrived. The house is nice & it’s roomy. Nice neighborhood. The wifi worked well with multiple users on it. Negatives: The King bed is super cheap & flimsy & couldn't hold up to intimate adult activities; the TV in the master bedroom was taped back together & didn’t work. I msgd the owner about a clogged shower drain & he didn’t offer to send a plumber or anything; two days later when I msgd again about the shower drain he finally provided some draino. We msgd the owner about running out of trash bags & toilet paper, there was only one replacement bag & one replacement roll of toilet paper, the owner told me to go to Walmart or Publix to get more. The thermostat was on a timer programmed to go back up to 74° like five times a day so we couldn’t keep it a comfortable temperature in the house. The hot water heater was turned way down so the hottest the water gets is barely warm, so forget having a hot shower. When our group came back from the beach we couldn’t shower back to back bc the warm water would run out after only one shower. Other: It would be nice to have board games available in the house. Parking was limited, it is difficult to fit two regular vehicles in the driveway. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach, but there is a public access with free parking not too far away. Curtains in all bedroom windows would have been nice to help with room darkness.

Good Stay

The owners were resposize and worked to fix any issues. I booked this for my son's senior spring break - the address was wrong and sent us on a bit a wild goose chase. At first we couldn't get anyone to pick. The owner did end up calling and was very apologetic. One of my filters when booking was that it had a pool... we were not notified that the pool in this community was closed for the season. This would have definitely sent me a different direction when booking. After the check in debacle they did refund me one night which was very nice. The house was clean and it is a nice distance from the beach and main street. I am an owner of a bnb and I always leave a few supplies, two garbage bags is not enough. I don'T want to have to buy garbage bags and have to travel with them. Also, the neighbor I believe watches everything I received several messages if our tire was too close to the grass or we were too close to the sidewalk - apparently there is a strict hoa, just not strict enough to get the pool working. That was a huge bummer.
