Artist house with fantastic sea views in an absolutely quiet location on Sheeps Head on the Wild Atlantic Way, ideal for exploring West Cork and the Irish southwest coast.

The country house is located about 3 km outside of Durrus on a large property with its own driveway.
It has 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor with a large double bed and a shower. Upstairs there are two ensuite bedrooms, one with 2 double beds and a bathroom with tub, and a bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a baby bed, and a bathroom with shower.
From almost all rooms and from the terrace you have a beautiful view of the sea, the mountains from Sheeps Head and across Dunmanus Bay to Mizen Head.

Ein Traum

Wir durften 4 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem außergewöhnlichen Haus verbringen. Taschi hat es mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Geschmack eingerichtet. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und Blumen und für den Hund stand ein Napf mit Hundewein parat. Bei der Ausstattung haben wir nichts vermisst. Unser Hund war schockverliebt in den großen, eingezäunten Garten, dem sie immer noch nachtrauert. Taschi und Pavea standen immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Unvergesslich bleiben die Nachmittage bei strahlendem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Tiefenentspannt sind wir zurückgekehrt. Danke.

Beautiful place!

Wow, we were very impressed with this home. Beautiful setting with a gorgeous view of the sea from the back patio. Kitchen and living areas were set up great. Highly recommend!

Wunderbar!

Wir haben im August eine Woche mit unserer Familie im Haus von Taschi verbracht und uns dort ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und es fehlt an keinerlei Ausstattung. Der Blick vom Haus und der Terrasse auf das Meer ist umwerfend und wir haben dies sehr genossen. Vielen Dank Taschi für die Bereitstellung dieser wundervollen Unterkunft und die freundliche Betreuung!

Erholung pur!

Wir waren begeistert. Das Haus liegt idyllisch und ruhig etwas außerhalb, mit fantastischem Blick auf die Bucht. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil.Taschi hat das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit an sie wenden. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und werden eines Tages wieder kommen.

Remote Retreat with family

We had a very pleasant stay at Taschi‘s House. From here, we explored Sheep‘s Head, Mizen Head and Bantry. Taschi was very welcoming and helpful. She and a friendly neighbor even pulled our car out of a ditch.

Fabulous Sheep's Head peninsula stay!!

Absolutely gorgeous house in a stunning location. The house is like new, beautifully furnished with both modern furniture and some of the owner's antique Bavarian furniture! Lots of light, stunning views towards the west and out to sea, located down a botharin (small rural lane with grass down the middle for those who are not aquatinted with the term as Gaeilge!) off a botharin on the road to from Durrus to Ahakista, so... ideal for R'n'R, rural strolls and listening to local animal life as well as beautiful sunny sea views from the back terrace!! Every you need is there (down to a drinking bowl for the dog!); no washing machine but we didn't need one. Easy access to everywhere and daytime walking to Durrus and Ahakista absolutely do-able. Super house, stunning location! I very much hope to be back and would recommend without hesitation! Thanks for all Taschi!
