Pack your rods, reels and scallop gear and get down to the Hatch and come check into the Fisherman's Paradise. The location is perfect and centrally located. One block from the Sea Hag and short walk to new marina, boat ramp and Roy's Restaurant. Can't get much better than that. The home sleeps 11 guests with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It has an open kitchen, dining and living area great for entertaining with a large flat screen tv and internet. I love the large back covered patio and fish cleaning table perfect for nice afternoons to sit an enjoy while you grill up your fresh catch on the outdoor charcoal grill. Also has a large covered pole barn with plenty of parking!!! Great covered area for cleaning your scallops or playing games out of the heat.

Family Vacation

This was our third time renting in Steinhatchee and this property was the best! The location was perfect to the boat ramp, marinas, restaurants and the best ice cream shop. Plenty of room and very very clean. The big carport was great for our boat and vehicles. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location but property needs a few changes

Property was clean and well located although dated. The large barn for parking was a plus. Owner was very responsive and reasonable. Property was listed as having King and Queen beds which were actually Queen and Full size beds which we discovered upon arrival. This significantly affected our group’s sleeping arrangement as 2 adults cannot fit in a full bed. We immediately brought this inaccuracy to the owner’s attention which they said they were unaware of and we settled on $100/off per night for the inaccuracy/inconvenience. The bunk beds in the bunk rooms were extremely squeaky given they are on a metal frames. There were no bedside tables/ lamps in the bedrooms and furniture overall is dated. Overall, great location and great owner but property needs an update with a focus on guest comfort especially in the bedrooms.

This house is perfect for a weekend of scalloping! Plenty of beds, well stocked kitchen, and amazing location! Will definitely rent again!

Space for everyone

Fisherman’s Paradise was a great option for our big group. We were able to park two trucks with boat trailers under the pole barn, the 4 rooms and 2 baths gave plenty of space for everyone, and we enjoyed the big dining/kitchen/living room space. We cooked all our meals at the house and there was ample counterspace, utensils, pots/pans, etc. The A/C worked well and there was plenty of hot water for all 7 showers. We also liked having a washer and dryer with soap provided. We were a bit confused on coffee (we thought it was a coffee pot not a Keurig) so we had to run out and buy K cups at the last minute. The beds were comfortable but beware the frames are VERY squeaky! Short drive to Deadman’s Marina for access to our boats. All in all, comfortable place to stay and met our needs for scalloping.
