***Welcome***
We named this wonderful beach house "Forget-Me-Not" in homage to our Alaskan roots and with the hope that your family has the most unforgettable vacation. If you are an Ocean Lakes veteran, then you already know how magical this place is. If this is your first time then you are in for a real treat. Either way, this is the perfect place to make lifelong memories.

***Our Home***
Forget-Me-Not is a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom raised family beach house with parking for 4 vehicles underneath. Walk to the beach in 2 minutes or to the waterpark in about 5. The main floor includes a large dining area with ample counter space-perfect for family dinners and a well-stocked kitchen.

All but one of the downstairs bedrooms has a TV with cable and streaming capabilities. Ultra high-speed WiFi is included.

Outside you’ll find a charcoal grill, shower, and two large decks to enjoy views of the canal, the ocean and your fellow campers cruising by.

Sleep up to 16 people: 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with a king bed, 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (twin beds on top and full beds on bottom), and 1 bedroom with 2 full beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa.

***Our Process***
- After booking, expect a call from us at the number listed on your account, within 48hrs, if you do not answer or respond, your booking request WILL BE DECLINED!
- Linens and towels are included. There is an extra charge for the pullout couch if needed

- There are 2 security cameras outside that are there for your safety and the security of the property. One covers the parking area, one covers the first floor entrance.

***Ocean Lakes***
Nestled within Ocean Lakes there are many amenities to enjoy including over a mile of beach, indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, lazy river, kids splash pad, basketball, shuffle board, and others that are available at no additional cost. An arcade, mini golf, and restaurants are also available.

There is a $13-15 per day, per vehicle charge by Ocean Lakes that must be paid ahead of your stay. Golf carts are also available for rent through Ocean Lakes.

Ocean Lakes is a very unique community and there are many rules and procedures in place to ensure that this is a FAMILY environment! This is NOT a party place and all guests must adhere to all policies and procedures!

One of the best vacations!

This house is perfect. We had 13 people (6 kids ranging from 4-7, and 7 adults) and all had our own space in the house. It is a perfect spot to make wonderful memories. The campground is awesome for kids. We never were bored and Rachel was amazing to work with. Quick to answer questions and had wonderful recommendations! Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will be back!!! Book this house, you won’t regret it!

Family Vacation

House was spacious enough to accommodate our 4 generation vacation. Host was great to work with prior and during our stay. Would work with this host again. House is close enough you can walk to the beach and playground. Resort has plenty amenities you don't need to leave to full your days.

This home is perfect! So spacious and so clean, our host Rachel was so fast to respond and excellent to work with. The home is even closer to the beach front than the pictures depict. We were here for a cheer competition and this was the perfect home for multiple families. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time on our 11 day vacation. The property is very clean and had more than enough room for the 4 adults and 3 kids that we stayed with. We had a few issues come up along the way but Rachel was fast to respond and helpful along the way. The issues were fixed quickly. The house was also well equipped with baby equipment which was helpful! Also, very conveniently located to the playground and recreation facilities/pools. Would highly recommend this place!

The property is in a great location. It had plenty of room for our children and grands. The rooms/bathrooms are laid out nicely. The owners were super nice. We would recommend and will likely stay there again if we all come back together. .

Wonderful house

Just left A17 today 9/2/23 We had a wonderful time on this house , memories were built ( 15 people total), we felt home and could really enjoy everything the ocean lakes has to offer , the feeling of being in a safe place with my kids surrounded by nice families that want to enjoy the place . Love this house

My family and our extended family have stayed in this house for several years and we love it! We adore Ocean Lakes. New owner has updated several things and freshened up the place and she’s very easy to work with. The house has plenty of bedrooms and we love the porch and especially the location. We call it the hot corner because we can sit outside downstairs at night and watch all the golf carts and people go by. We love this house and Ocean Lakes! We will be back.

Rachel was excellent. Communicated through the entire booking process and check in process. No issues with property and is exactly as listed. I have to say all the porches were awesome and we really enjoyed our time with friends and family.

Wonderful Beach Home

This was a wonderful home to stay in. We comfortably had 4 family units stay in this home. The rooms are conveniently separated and we all felt like we had our own spaces without feeling crowded. Rachel was wonderful and very responsive with our questions throughout our stay. The home is very close to the beach. One of our family members with health issues was able to easily walk the distance. The pool was a little bit further away, but still a very manageable walk. We felt very safe in this community and our young children had a wonderful time and kept busy with all of the different activities that Ocean Lakes offers. We were very sad to leave at the end of our stay.

Great Family House for young children & toddler. Adults too!

We has a great family vacation, perfect location for families with young children, safe place to be! Rooms were perfect for our large family. We cooked and grilled a lot. Nice family table. They supplied all of what we needed well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, out door shower and best porch for the adults to hang out when the littles went to bed! This is a great home, great stroll to the beach and near a handicap entrance. Not too far from playground and about a 7 min drive by golf cart to the waterpark. We do recommend with a large group to get your umbrellas, chairs and sand blankets about 7:30 am. Those close spots to watch the kids play in ocean fill up early. You can buy those things but if you get there early you can save that money! Rachel is a great host, great communication and she is quick to respond! Highly recommend and it's in our VRBO favorites. We hope to return again! Thanks again Rachel!

Great spot

House is really close to the beach and water park. Tucked away on a quieter street. Loved the porches, they were even shady from the cool tree most of the day. The host made everything super easy especially the smart lock. The dishwasher was not working when we got there and she had a new one installed right away! Very pleasant to deal with! My family will remember this house and vacation for a long time!

Perfect Lg Group Beach Stay

We loved our stay here! It was our first time at Ocean Lakes and we were impressed! The house is clean and surprisingly spacious. The outdoor decks added so much space for relaxing and dinners. The kitchen is very well stocked with about everything you can imagine and the grounds is across the steer from a Neighborhood Walmart and a big one 5 min away. We could walk to anything in Ocean Lakes and didn’t need a golf cart at all - but man are they everywhere! The house is a block down from the beach and playgrounds. It’s two blocks from the recreation center, pools and water park and a few blocks from the on-site store, and ice cream shop. The hardest part is finding your way to the house upon entering ocean lakes. It’s like a maze! Rachel is incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We had 8 adults and 8 kids ages 2-14 and we all fit! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We are originally from Alaska, transplanted to North Carolina to pursue professional goals... we got used to being thawed out and never left :) We now have 4 kids and are making our dream come true to give them the tradition of yearly beach visits.

Ocean Lakes in general is a wonderful get-away for families- it has a little bit of everything, which is why we chose it! Easy access to the beach, miniature golf, water park, indoor and outdoor pools, activities, an arcade- the list goes on! Our home is unique in that it has SIX bedrooms, and ample living space for large groups.
