**Due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene on Sept 27, 2024, the use of the lake has been paused. Throughout the Spring and Summer the water level will fluctuate as the Army Corps of Engineers conduct repairs.

HOWEVER, this house has views and amenities to delight. A new hot tub was added in April 2025 along with a refined (re-)renovation on the first floor.

We just completed an amazing renovation! We added a 5th bedroom (two of them are actually brand new), a 3rd full bath and added a significant entertainment game room with pool table, shuffleboard table, wet bar and media room. We also rebuilt and modernized the outdoor deck space and stairs as well as added a new outdoor patio space under the sun room.

This sophisticated five-bedroom waterfront home was artfully designed to ensure mountain and lake views from nearly every room. The kitchen and all bathrooms were renovated in 2022+. The house is now managed by the owner directly. As a result, you will not see reviews prior to the Fall of 2022 but we have many references if you like to speak to any.

Situated on a flat double lot, this two-story family-friendly property is one of few with a lush lawn stretching all the way to the water and includes a private dock.

Once lake access resumes, enjoy the provided paddle boards (four) and kayak!

LIVING AREA

A smart TV takes center stage in the living area, which offers two armchairs and a sectional.

The game room downstairs has a pool table, shuffleboard, a smart TV, and a bar.

KITCHEN & DINING

The modern kitchen comes with a full suite of upscale appliances as well as a classic coffee maker (small Keurig downstairs) , toaster, blender, and crockpot. Prepare meals while listening to music on the Sonos speaker.

Enjoy meals with a view in the dining room.

BED & BATH

The large primary suite has a king canopy bed, an armchair, and a writing desk. The spacious bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in closet, and walk-in shower.

A second bedroom has a king bed, while a third bedroom has a queen and full-size bed. The fourth bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed. And the new 5th bedroom just added a twin-over-queen bunk bed.

There are four guest bathrooms. Three bathrooms with walk in showers and two half baths add convenience. There is also an outdoor shower.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

This is the only house on the entire lake with a full lake front lawn! Take in lake views from the wraparound balcony, which has a gas grill. Or enjoy the vistas from your screened porch, detailed with ceiling fans, patio lights, and a full outdoor living set. This promises to have some of the best sunset views in all of Lake Lure.

Play yard games on the lawn or gather around the wood-burning firepit. The dock is big enough to accommodate two boats or a pontoon boat which can be rented from local companies or the resort.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi, DISH Network TV, a washer/dryer, games/toys, four paddleboards, one kayak, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided.

We have outdoor lawn games such as bean bag toss, bocce ball, horseshoes, Kan Jam, Bottle Bash and two basketballs. The drive way has a full size basketball hoop.

Picturesque Lake Lure is a dream destination for nature lovers. [Once re-opened after Hurricane Helene damage] Chimney Rock is five miles from your door, and Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals within a 15-minute drive. Kayaks, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.

AT&T Fiber has recently been installed for high speed internet.

*Lake quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.

Parking notes: Parking is available for four cars. The driveway is VERY steep and four parking spaces are available but two of them are at the top of the driveway, next to the road in a gravel spot. If additional parking is required please reach out for more details.
