Lakefront Mountain Condo

Welcome to our condo:
As you enter, there are two home made coat hangers for you to use. Drop your groceries on the kitchen table but don't bring too much: you are welcome to use what is in the pantry: sugar, spaghettis, cans, etc. We hope you like what you see when you look around: the long wooden skis belonged to my father who used them at his favorite place: Portillo. On the wall of the kid's room are our daughter's first skis and on the wall next to the fireplace hangs a picture of St. Anton, bought by my grandmother.
Our son also fell in love with the West and offers his 2nd home on the western slope in Fruita for rent at VRBO 430103
Enjoy the gas fireplace when it is cold or the balcony with an expansive view of the lake, Keystone trails and the Colorado mountains beyond when it is warm. The gas grill is easy to use.

There is a TV in every room. The jetted hot tub in the guest bathroom is great to loosen sore muscles after a day of skiing or hiking.
The building entrance is locked at night and on weekends for your safety. Please remember the combination and register your car at the little station next to the elevator..

Excellent place

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was equipped with lots of items for cooking and was very comfortable. We also enjoyed both the hot tub and sauna after long days of skiing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

The place was in a great location for hitting multiple ski resorts. It was clean with plenty of space for a family of 4. I would highly recommend this condo.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Came for the Colorado Pond Hockey Tournament. Nice and comfortable. Only issue I had was that the instructions that were sent to me need to be updated. Main door code was incorrect. Luckily a friend was also staying in the same place and was able to give me the code.

The perfect ski trip base

We’ve stayed in this building before and we kind of know what to expect, and this unit matched our expectations. It was very clean and well-stocked and we felt at home immediately. Beautiful mountain and lake views were amazing to wake up to each morning. Our 14 year old son liked that he had a separate bedroom with his own private bathroom. The only complaint, and I do mean the only complaint, is we were told we would get the code to get inside the building before check in and we did not. (To be fair I received a call from a strange number earlier in the day and ignored the call, not thinking it could be the call with the door code. Oops!)

Comfy and super location

This condo is perfectly located within walking distance to the amphitheater. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It did tend to get a little warm but the table fans were helpful in cooling us off. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats and paddle boarders.

Great spot

Nice condo. Views of the marina we’re nice to wake up to. Secluded and quiet little section of Dillon I didn’t know existed. We Walked to a couple restaurants, and it was so close to I70 which made for easy travels out of Dillon. I’d stay here again. Owner was great and super sweet, and called ahead to confirm all check-in details.

Charming with fireplace

Charming place in great location overlooking the lake. Restaurants, grocery store, etc. nearby. King bed was very comfy. Fyi, two smaller beds are children’s twin sizes and would not be suitable for larger adults. This unit isn’t fancy but met all our needs and the price is reasonable. Would have given this unit a 5 with a little updating to bath(s) and carpet. Was nice to have spices, etc there for our use. Would definitely rent again.

Great place for skiing keystone

This condo has so many extras - well stocked kitchen and convenient bus stop just a few steps away to get to keystone. Beautiful view of lake Dillon! Very clean too!

What a view!

Hi Inge, We loved the Dillon lakeside condominium - the easy access (first floor), the waterfront view, and the coziness and decor. Skiiing was close by, as were all the services we needed (grocery store, etc). It was the perfect spot for our winter getaway, and all three of us loved it! Thank you!!

With a ski cottage feel and an amazing view out back, this was an excellent place to stay! Clean, well kept, and stocked with some extra supplies, we absolutely loved the stay and look forward to doing it again next year! Host was excellent to work with.

Great condo on Lake Dillon

The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen and two bathrooms were very well equipped and the gas fireplace was a welcome addition on the few cold nights we had. Given the price, it is a very attractive value in a great location in Summit County. The only issue worthy of mention was that during nights when it was in single digits or below zero, it was difficult to get the master bedroom warm. Fortunately the comforter took care of that, but there may be an issue with either the baseboard heating in the bedroom, or simply the glass walls with the large sliding glass door needs to be sealed better. Overall, Inga's unit was greatly appreciated and we envision staying there on a future trip to Summit County.

We are Kenneth and Inge Kirkland. Ken hails from Oklahoma and he wanted to live in Colorado ever since he was a little boy. Inge hails from Chile and never thought about moving to the USA until she met Ken skiing in Portillo!! We have used the condo to ski in Winter and have fun in the Summer with our four kids. Now we are empty nesters and want to share it with you, hoping our guests will enjoy their time in the mountains. We communicate in English-Spanish-German-Portuguese and are also available as knowledgeable mountain guides for a negotiable fee.

Why they chose this property

The Lodge is a well built place: stressed cement is safer in the mountains than wood! Also, the lobby of the building provides safety from uninvited visitors. The views are spectacular, sports and cultural activities to fill every need are plentiful and close by. Every season in the mountains has its own appeal: Winter attracts snow-sport enthusiasts, Spring brings back greenery and fishermen, in Summer flowers bloom everywhere and the Lake is full of little white sails you can watch lying by the outdoor heated pool and finally: Fall is quiet and saturated with warm sunshine spilling through the golden leaves of the Aspen trees. At each season, there is something worthwhile and unforgettable to do and enjoy.
