Rosie's Retreat is a charming, cozy beach home with interesting accents and accessories that you don't often find in rental units. The attention to detail makes this home a special place to stay!
This home has been a duplex with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on each level. We decided to add steps to the inside and 2 more bathrooms, making it a 4 bedroom, 4 bath!
We just installed new siding, and Andersen windows and doors. We are excited about the new look and think that you will love the coastal charm!
PLEASE NOTE: Weekly rental ONLY in the summer.

For your safety, we have exterior cameras in the front and back of the property.

Family Beach Time

We had a beautiful stay. The house was impeccable, the beach was clean, quiet and not crowded. The town of Fernandina beach is really charming.

Amelia Island Gem

We LOVED staying here! The beach is so close we walked there everyday at least once! Very spacious, well furnished and the outdoor spaces are great also. The upstairs deck has a great ocean view and was a favorite hangout for my grown kids. There's an outdoor kitchen on the bottom level and a fire pit that we enjoyed at night. We have rented several vacation homes but Amy is especially thoughtful in the details to make your visit memorable. We can't wait to go back!

great location

property is a great location! direct access to the beach just feet away from back door and super views from the second story deck. also location to surrounding area was great. house well equipped with beach chairs and towels, nice extra. Amy the homeowner was great to work with and extremely helpful and communicating. i would highly recommend this house to others.

Rosie's retreat was great. Four large bedrooms and bathrooms allows all of us to be together AND have our own space. Kitchen was well supplied. Good selection of books and games for all ages.We were only a couple minutes from the beach

Location and Details

This was my second stay at this property and it did not dissapoint. My kids loved the proximity to the beach and the games. My wife and I appreciated the closeness to downtown, restaurants, etc, as well as the supply of toiletries and coffee. Would recommend.

The Getaway House

Wonderful stay at the Getaway House. The location couldn't have been any better. Close to town and restaurants and the host was always available if we had questions. Loved every minute of our vacation! Looking forward to going back.

Wonderful Property

Everything was clean, neat and just as advertised. Amy, the hostess, was an absolute dream to communicate with. It's view of the beach was great, the closeness to restaurants was wonderful, but the fire pit stole the show! We sat by it every night!

Beach Gem!

Our group of seven was visiting the area for a College Bowl game and wanted to stay on Amelia Island. Our 4 bedroom, 4 bath accommodation was exactly as described and perfect for our group in every way. Amy our host was very attentive and checked with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a five star experience for sure!

Beautiful Beach House

This was an amazing house with a wonderful host, and my family had a great stay here. The house is beautifully decorated and very well stocked, even including a good selection of board games and beach equipment. We also really appreciated having four full bathrooms to go along with the four bedrooms!

Wonderful stay!

Booked our stay to gather lifelong friends together. The house was just perfect. Four couples and everyone had their own space to sleep and great areas inside and out to visit. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The owner checked on us a few times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. And, she was quick to respond to any questions we had about the house or area. Would definitely book this place again and highly recommend it!

This was the perfect get away for my girlfriends and I to catch up and recharge before returning to reality. Amy is the best hostess! I highly recommend you stay at any of her properties. They are beautifully decorated but not stuffy. We enjoyed our time on Amelia Island very much!!

Family gathering

This is a lovely little beach cottage. It’s a real asset to have four bedrooms with large comfortable beds and to have so many bathrooms. It’s a great home for a large family or group of friends. Amy is very easy to communicate with. The house is super comfortable. It is set one house in from the beach so you don’t have a true ocean view but you have easy access to the beach. All in all a great stay and we would rent again! Thank you Amy

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute beach cottage! It was a short walk to the beautiful uncrowded beach just south of main beach. The cottage had all the supplies you need for your beach vacation, beach chairs, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, 4 comfortable king beds, books, games, and toys!

Quintessential beach home

With private bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms for 4 couples, our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach and biking to key locations such as Ft. Clinch and downtown Fernandina. The living space and kitchen worked out well for everyone to relax as well. Amy was so prompt and helpful with suggestions for many restaurant and activity recommendations. We are looking forward to returning.

Quaint home by the sea

The property was clean and well stocked. Pretty views from the 2nd floor balcony out to the Ocean. We loved the location, it was an easy bike ride to downtown Fernindina (great lunch at Karibo). We also road to the park for pickle ball. The Salt Life restaurant was great, and you could easily walk there. We drove over to the Omni and played a round at the gorgeous par 3 course called Little Sandy (all golf levels welcome). Publix is about two miles away and we grilled out on the charcoal grill a couple of nights. The weather was chilly so we did not spend much time down at the beach, but there was plenty to do without it. I would definitely recommend Rosie's Retreat for a fun getaway.

Comfortable and spacious

Owner was very responsive and helpful. Beds and living room furniture were comfortable and homey. Kitchen was nicely stock. Beach path and deck railings could use some tending to for better experience of the beach and view. It was a great stay. We’d definitely go back!

Great location near beach, food, and trails

Our family had a great visit over the holiday, taking advantage of the beach, the greenway trails, and the state park to enjoy the coast and its wildlife. We appreciated the house's cleanliness and ample kitchen supplies. The four bedrooms worked well for us, especially that one is on the main floor. Hope to return sometime!
