Welcome to “De Feerjenhusen” at Haubarg von Vollerwiek your vacation home. Vollerwiek is located on the south coast of Eiderstedt, 10 km before St. Peter-Ording. "De Feerjenhusen" (the holiday homes) are 500 m behind the sea dike. Only 7 minutes on foot and you are at my favorite place - the bank at the DLRG house - and watch the red sun sink into the sea.
In Vollerwiek, a small agricultural and tourist village with DLRG guarded swimming area and beach chairs in summer and the bike path at the foot of the green dike along the Eider barrier to St. Peter-Ording with a view of the North Sea, experience the pure beauty of North Friesland.
Arrive, switch off, let your mind wander, soak up the vastness of the mudflats, relax, recharge your own battery.
If you like it more lively, you will find entertainment nearby.
The bustling St. Peter-Ording with its 12 km long sandy beach and the unique stilt houses is only a 10-minute drive away. Tönning, Husum, Friedrichstadt or Büsum with their historic harbors, canals, a variety of shops, cozy cafes and restaurants serving regional cuisine can be reached in 15 to 30 minutes
I have been renting apartments on Eiderstedt for over 25 years. In autumn 2019 I parted ways with "old building fabric" and now I'm building a modern holiday complex for you to feel good. There are no pictures yet; but the apartments are ready for occupancy in mid-April 2020 and can be booked immediately.

Your holiday complex "De Feerjenhusen" on Haubarg in Vollerwiek includes two holiday homes with a total of 5 holiday apartments. The low-allergen apartments have a floor area of 62 to 80 square meters and have two or three bedrooms in addition to the bathroom and kitchen.
All apartments are equipped with everything you need to provide and feel good.
* Underfloor heating everywhere under tiles and design floors with only health and ecologically harmless (natural) plasticizers.
* Fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle.
* Living room with fireplace, leather seating, dining table and chairs, large TV and internet via WiFi. Blankets are ready for you on the sofa.
* Bedroom with cozy and covered beds.
* Spacious bathroom with outside window, walk-in shower and basic towels.
* Your children and you will love the garden, which is fenced separately for each apartment, as well as your own terrace with garden table, seating and reclining chairs.
* One paved parking space in front of the house for each apartment
Dogs are welcome in "De Feerjenhusen" provided they are well behaved and house-trained. Outside of your own fenced garden, your darlings must be kept on a short leash on the grounds of the holiday complex "De Feerjenhusen" out of consideration for other guests.
ABENDSTILLE is my largest apartment with 80 sqm. It is located on the ground floor of Feerjenhuus I, which was completed in 2007, has three bedrooms and will be completely renovated in winter 2020.
They open the door to a contemporary, friendly apartment with beamed ceilings that can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. The underfloor heating under the tiles and the fire in the fireplace provide cozy warmth in the spacious living room. Opposite the dining area, the red leather seating group invites you to relax. There is a television on the wall above the natural wood chest of drawers. Comfortable beds and cozy pillows and blankets are made upon arrival and ensure a restful sleep. In the bathroom, cozy terry towels hang over the towel radiator and a walk-in shower invites you to enter. Through the rear door you enter your fully fenced garden. Spoil yourself with peace and relaxation in the deck chair behind the house or roast your steak on the outside grill and enjoy it with a glass of wine with your friends.
From the middle of April 2020, this apartment will be available for a break after a fundamental renovation. Book today.
