Quiet, clean, but small
We were having our house painted and had to move out for a couple of weeks. It’s pretty easy to find a place—unless you’ve got a big black dog. In that case, your options narrow significantly.FWIW, our dog loved the backyard, joyfully doing zoomies on the lawn with total abandon. The front of the home features a lovely garden filled with native plants and the critters (birds, crickets, bees, butterflies) they attract. The home is immaculately maintained, and our host (or her husband) responded quickly and helpfully to all of our questions. While the photos accurately represent the home, it’s worth noting that this is an older house that would benefit from upgrades across the board—plumbing, lighting, kitchen, bathroom, etc. That said, the heating worked well (we didn’t try the A/C). The three bedrooms could sleep six, but with just one tiny bathroom, it’s possible the guys in your group may occasionally need to make use of the backyard "facilities".The furniture is also on the older side, and the nicest brands you’ll find are Target and IKEA. Our stay would’ve been more comfortable with at least a cozy armchair and a better couch.
